{1} Run Away

Summer's P.O.V

It was that time of the year again, midterms, but I wasn't surprised, every year we have to go through three huge test, entrance, midterms, and finals. My name is Summer and I am a wolf furry. I'm 16 and I have very good grades. I live with my twin sister Brownie, my mom, my dad, and Kiki my pet kitten. I was in my room studying when there was a knock on my door.

"Come in," I said. The person came in and it was my mom.

"Hey sweetie you have to go to bed soon you don't want to wake up late," Mom said and gave me  a hug. I hugged back.

"I won't mom, I have to keep studying for midterms," I said and went back to studying.

"I wish Brownie was like you, good grades, positive attitude, but sadly no, she has to go out and stay out late, and then come back with hickey's all over her body, well night sweetie," Mom said and left my room.

"Good night," I said to Kiki and got dressed for bed.

The Next Day

I woke up to the sun shining in my face and decided to get up. Once I got up I went to the shower and washed my hair. After I washed my hair I styled it into a high ponytail and changed into a black long-sleeved crop top, and black ripped skinny jeans. Once I was done getting dressed I went downstairs for breakfast. Once I got downstairs I saw Brownie on the couch.

"Summer sweetie your dad left for work and I will be here when you get back from school," Mom said. I nodded and grabbed a piece of toast and grabbed my book bag.

On my way to school I was studying. I didn't want to fail midterms and I was easily walking to school. Once I got to school I stopped by my locker and went to class.

After School~ Brownie's P.O.V

I was walking behind Summer because she was walking very fast with her hips swaying and tail swaying, her body is just perfect. I was so jealous. So I did the best logical thing possible, I took out the the knife I carried around and started cutting myself making it look like Summer beat me up, and started covering my self in bruises and cried. Once we got home Summer was still looking down at her book and went inside. I stayed outside for like 20 minutes and decided to walk in knowing she would be in her room. When I walked in Mom and Dad came running to me.

"Oh my god Brownie what happened?!" My mother yelled. I put my ears back and my tail between my legs ad started crying.

"S..Summer she beat me up after school and left me there, Whaa," I cried and they believed me.

Hehehe Summer now you will be replaced by me.

Summer's P.O.V

I was in my room when I was called down by mom. She didn't sound to happy and I was wondering what was wrong. I got up and walked downstairs.

"Yes mom," I said.

"Why did you beat up your sister, I thought you were the perfect daughter, you are grounded!" Mom yelled and slapped  me. I was shocked. I never hurt Brownie she was right behind me on the way home. Dad was holding Brownie, who was covered in scars, while glaring at me. I felt like I wasn't wanted in the house hold anymore. Tears started to swell in my eyes and I ran upstairs. Once I was in my room I slammed the door and locked it. Kiki came up to me and meowed.

"Oh Kiki what am I gonna do?" I asked and hugged her. I then got an idea, I would run away. I got up and grabbed me suitcase and packed all my clothes, necessities, and all my valuables. I then went into my parents room and grabbed $200, and went back to my room. Once I had all the stuff I need I put my hoodie on and left through the window with Kiki in my arms. I ran and ran until I came to a bus station. I got on a bus and sat in the far back.

~Time Skip to Starstruck City~

I woke up and I saw a sign that said Starstruck City, I was dumbstruck, I was in the most populated city in all of the furry world. I got up and hopped off the bus and walked around. I wasn't looking where I was going and crashed into someone. The impact caused me to fall down on my butt.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow," I said while wincing in pain with my ears down. Kiki was still in my arms, sleeping.

"I am so sorry," a deep voice said. I looked up and met with dark grey eyes. I took their hand as they pulled me up with such strength I ended up against their chest. I pulled back. Judging by their scent, they were male. He had red hair, and was a wolf, he was wearing black ripped skinny jeans, and a red hoodie.

"I'm Summer," I said while looking down with my ears down and tail between my legs.

"I'm Blaze," he said.  He then picked up my suitcase. Kiki woke up and jumped on my shoulder, and sat down.

"Oh, and this is Kiki, my pet," I said. We chatted and walked for a bit until we came to a small apartment. Blaze opened the door and opened it for me. I stepped inside and just stood there.

"So what brings you to the most populated in all of the places in the world?" Blaze asked. My eyes widened, and my ears went down while my tail went between my legs.

"Well you see I ran away from home," I said and looked down.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry I didn't mean-" I cut Blaze off.

"It's ok, I was walking home from school with my sister Brownie, and I arrived home first and Brownie was nowhere to be found. 20 minutes later she came home with cuts and bruises all over her body, and blamed it on me. My mother then slapped me and I decided that I was not welcome there anymore and left," I explained. I had tears coming out of my eyes and I started crying.

"I did nothing to her," I said. Blaze walked to me after setting my bags down and hug me, I hugged back and it somewhat calmed me down.

"I have a spare bedroom you can have," Blaze said and walked up the stairs with me following behind, with my suitcase. After he showed me around the small apartment he showed me my room and left me to unpack. A least I don't have to live on the streets. I looked around the room and it was a little dull but I didn't mind the bed was a light blue with white fluffy pillows, there was even a pet bed for Kiki. Kiki jumped off my shoulder and ran to the bed and started circling it.

"Kiki your funny," I said and started unpacking. After I unpacked my clothes I went to the bathroom that was in my room and put all my essentials where they needed to go. After I was done unpacking I changed into some shorts and a light blue hoodie. After I was done changing I went to sleep.
