Dear Diary,
right now I am in the car, on the bumpy road home from The Burrow. Emily is asleep beside me, with her dolls held loosely in her dainty hands, her blonde clad head is lolling on her shoulder and the slightest bit of drool is dripping from the corner of her mouth, is and has always been, the most wonderful person in the world.
Today, mum, Emy, Roxanne's family and I, went to Diagon Alley, to by everything we need for our new school year. First we went to Madame Malcim's Robes for all Occasions to by me some new robes for Hogwarts and Roxanne a some dress robes she always has to have a pair of these because her whole family is famous). We went to Flourish and Blotts to by Unfoging The Future, The Monster Book of Monsters (Which tried to bite Roxanne's leg of) and A Guide To Arathmancy. We had to go to the Apothecary, for potion ingredients and then we finally got into Weasleys' Wizard wheezes, beside the shop was a plaque with the writing:
In loving memory of Gorge Weasley, an amazing chef trouble
maker of Hogwarts, shop owner, inventor, friend, son, brother
and twin, he will never be forgotten.
I could feel my eyes welling up but I blinked the tears away and walked inside the world famous shop. To my left were the famous Skiving Snack Boxes that made the Weasley twins famous at Hogwarts (even though they have been banned for nearly a decade!). Mountains of teenagers (of all genders) were crowded round the love potions that were giving of a pink glow. I was looking around in amazement when Roxanne tugged me into the defence against the dark arts section and whispered to me
"We get half price, it's cool isn't it!"
"Yeah it's cool!" I answered "No wonder you dad and his twin are Hogwarts legend, you get nearly as much attention as Albus and James Potter do because of your dad!"
"Yeah, yeah, enough of the fan girl talk thank you." Said Roxanne with a laugh. "Look over there, Decoy Detonators, I use these all the time when Reid the care taker gets hold of me!" She says with a mischievous smile. Roxanne is like her father, you rarely see her with out a smile on her face, mischievous or otherwise!
We walked out of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes with our money bags considerably lighter then when we entered the shop I went into Ilops Owl Emporium and sneekely bought Emily's eighth birthday present, a grey White-Faced Scops Owl, she has been wanting an owl ever since I went to Hogwarts so she could write to me (Seeing as the Wifi does not work at Hogwarts, it has been awful!). When I left the shop Mum said that we had to leave, I walked very slowly past Quality Quidditch Supplies, looking longingly at the new Lightning Strike 27, the latest and top of the range broom stick, but mum put a strong hand on my shoulder, steering me towards the archway. At the archway I said my good-byes to Roxanne and left in the car with Mum and Emy, concealing the cage in my bag.
Now we are finally home, write you soon!

Dear diary,
I am really sorry that I haven't written in over a month, but nothing is happening, so I thought I would just put it in one diary entry. I have completed my homework, gotten a few owls from multiple people, swam In the lake, had millions of play dates with my muggle friend Lexi, she is short, with a modern pixie cut that suites her dark or an hair perfectly, (Though she says that as soon as she gets the chance it will be a bright blue), her trade mark is t-shirt, 3/4 jeans, converse and a neon blue watch (though many people are shocked when they hear that she specialises in classical piano).
Anyway, today is Emily's birthday, I have been concealing the her from Emy by pretending that the owl hooting is the owl the is living in the tree outside my bedroom, but is has been difficult to keep. My black cat, Ace from performing a ninja swipe, I have had to keep the owl covered with one of my blankets.
When I woke up at 6:17am, Mum and I took all the presents from there hiding places, placed them on the dinner table in colour order, and then started cooking her favourite breakfast, crêpes (Aaaaah, the bliss of bacon!). At 7:00am Emy came running down the stairs into the kitchen/ dining room and in her haste bumping into the wall on her way. Laughing I shouted
"If it isn't the birthday girl herself! Emily, future saviour of the universe!"
Laughing I lifted her up and twirled around with her feet flying off the floor while I held her armpits.
"Celeste, Emy, not in the kitchen."
Mum said with a twinkle in her eye.
"Right you are Mum! Now, Emily, remember this may effect the rest of your life, what present would you like to open first?"
I said in a falsely serious voice.
"Your one! Which one is it?"
She asked happily.
"It's not here"
I told her boldly.
"Oh..."
She looked extremely disappointed.
"Just wait here."
I jumped up every second stair to my bedroom, grabbed Emy's future owl sprinted back down to the kitchen and gave her the cage, still covered by my blanket. Then dramatically she said
"Drum role please!"
*drum role*
She pulled off the blanket and screamed! Next thing I new, I was engulfed in one of the most enthusiastic hug I had ever been given and I hugged her back just as enthusiastically, trying to convey an unused message to her, and the words that were shaped by her pink lips next were
"I am going to call her étoile, it means star."
The rest of the day was pretty good, we went to the zoo, had lunch and then we went home. For dinner we had tacos and chocolate muse (very multicultural, I know.). Once we were all in bed I herd a soft voice whispering
"Hello étoile."
Write you soon! (Going to Hogwarts tomorrow)
