Monday morning dawned on them all the following day, and upon Sungjin's request, one brother would accompany her all the way to school. As it seems, some scars take a little longer than three days to heal. As the one who didn't have any schedules for that day, Sungjong volunteered to come with her.
“And as extra precaution, I’ll stay until your classes end,” said Sungjong as he prepared her lunch. “How’s that?”
Sungjin beamed at him. “That would be great, but you might get bored.”
“Don’t worry about me,” said Sungjong with a sunny smile. “I’ll find something to do.”

It took brother and sister a bus ride to get to Sungjin's high school, and once Sungjin was on her way to class, Sungjong went to speak with the guard to get a visitor's pass. He was wearing a cap that shaded his face a bit to veer away from unwanted attention.
"I'm accompanying my little sister, you see--she's had some issues. I promise not to cause trouble and just stay in the library or somewhere quiet," reasoned Sungjong, using his most honest smile.
The guard made him log in onto the logbook and gave him an ID with "Visitor" written on it. Then he squinted at the younger boy. “Excuse me, but do I know you?” he asked. "You seem mighty familiar."
“I’m Lee Sungjong of Infinite,” Sungjong replied. Then he lowered his voice. “But don’t tell anyone you saw me, please. I'm here on my sister's request.”
The guard looked at him from head to toe, realization dawning on him. “You’re the youngest of them, right? I recognize you from the TV shows my daughter watches.”
Sungjong smiled. He took out a piece of paper and signed it. “Please give this to you daughter. We try to reach out to fans whenever we can."
The guard took the paper with a kind smile and pocketed it. “Thank you, she will be very happy with this. The library is in the third floor, with the wooden double doors.”
Sungjong bowed. “Thank you! Please continue to work hard.”
As Sungjong went on his way to the library, Sungjin got into her classroom. She slid the door open as softly as she could, hoping no one would notice her arrival. Unfortunately, someone did.
“Sungjin! OMG! Where were you last Friday?” burst Jinah when she saw her friend. Sungjin avoided her eyes and sank down on her seat.
The girls exchanged confused looks and plunked themselves down on the desks in front of Sungjin. "Hey, what's wrong? Were you sick?" asked Nabi.
Sungji sighed as she arranged her books on her desks, still not making eye contact with them. “A mishap happened last Thursday, so my brothers took me out to make me feel better the following day.”
“What happened?” asked the girls in unison, not bothering to ask where Sungjin got brothers from.
“Nothing that concerns you,” snappedSungjin. “We’ll talk about this later.”
Classes ended soon, and the girls couldn’t wait for her explanation so they hounded Sungjin until they got out into the school yard. She sent a quick text to Sungjong, and in a few minutes he was walking toward their group.
“Jinah, Nabi, this is my older brother--” said Sungjin, getting stuck at the name. She glanced at Sungjong quickly for help.
“Taesung,” said Sungjong and smiled at the girls. "It's nice to meet you."
