One day, an over confident ladder had been leaning against a wall, & then it saw them... The bottom ladder, it couldn't believe it at first sight, but it really was an amazingly shiny stunning bottom ladder. The over confident ladder knew it was a top but not this much. With out much thought, the over confident top ladder had pinned the bottom ladder to the wall. “Hi stunning.~” The top ladder spoke. “U-Uhm.. Hello? Could you- uhm- ya' know... Let me go?” The bottom spoke softly while it's voice was clearly shaking, the top ladder scoffed “I can't let a beauty like you just run off, who knows what could happen, but I could keep you safe in my arms.~” The bottom ladder giggled, “Oh- Well uhm... I- ”The bottom ladder didn't know what to say. The top, over confident ladder leaned in, smirking. A heavy dust of pink went over the bottom ladders ‘Face?’ but quickly pushed the top, over confident ladder away “I-I gotta go- I'm- sorry?” The bottom ladder quickly pulled out a sharpie and drew it's number on the top, over confident ladders ‘Hand?’ & ran off. The top, over confident ladder sighed “Well... At least I left them bothered.~” The ladder smirked and snickered. The top over confident ladder went back to it's day, but a couple or more, throughout the day, it thought of that shiny bottom ladder ~ & every time that ladder crossed their mind, the top ladder smiled & let out a small hum.
-Later that night-
As the ladder began to ‘Walk?’ home, it pulled out it's phone from it right back pocket, turning the phone on, & since it was late, the brightness shines from the phone the top, over confident ladder let out an annoyed hum & quickly turned the brightness down quiet a bit. The ladder looked at its ‘Hand?’ & smiled as the ladder entered the phone number in, adding them to their contacts, but when they came to the naming part, they quickly froze, “Wait- I didn't even get their name- Ugh-” The ladder tapped their foot clearly annoyed, but for now, they just put ‘The shiny bottom ladder”. After that slight incident, the top, over confident ladder began to type quickly
Top Ladder: “Hey shiny~ It's the ladder of your dreams that protected you & your shiny steps~ I was wondering if you wanted to meet somewhere, not my bedroom though, yet.”
The three dots popped up, meaning the admirable shiny ladder was texting back. The top, over confident ladder let out a small soft boi smile but quickly went back to top energy.
The shiny bottom ladder: Well Hi you big flirt. Sure! We can totally meet up! How about the cafe? I know humans hang around there but it's a nice place besides that, but I mean, some humans are pretty nice! So we can meet up at the cafe- but uhm... On slight problem... I can't walk there, so uhm, can you come pick me up? I'm super sorry!”
The top ladder smirked & quickly texted back
The Top Ladder: Not a problem shiny~ When should I pick you up? Oh, & where should I pick you up? My bedroom?”
The bottom ladder was completely oblivious to the clear flirtatious speech & what the top ladder meant
The shiny bottom ladder: How about 1:35 pm? The cafe closes at 6 so that should work. You can pick me up at my house of course! It's 730 Glass Rd, Imagine City, IM 70854. Thanks again! I'm gonna try & sleep now, goodnight!”
The top ladder sighed & turned off their phone, not even bothering to text back, the top ladder decided they should sleep too.
They both drifted off into slumber. They were two completely different ladders, but yet they were made for each other.... Or so they thought?
