"She survived,"The droid said plainly with its flat toned robotic vocals.
"She's a strong one isn't she?" Another nurse had spoke before backing off and leaving the room with the others.
The Mandalorians eyes met with the young girls face,she looked so peaceful.He pulled a chair over to the side of her bed with the child next to his side. The small child puts his tiny arms forward to her body.
"You wanna go on there?"He talks swiftly to the small one,picking it up and placing it on the bed. The child crawled over to Blaise and snuggled into her neck before falling asleep so blissfully. The Mandalorian sat there for hours waiting for a response.
He jolted as he had noticed a finger moved.Her eyes then open with the hint of light.He stood up fast.
"Blaise!?"
Her eyes met with his shiny clean helmet,the same helmet she missed seeing for so long.
"Mando?" A whisper had escaped her mouth softly as she opened her eyes wider gaining full consciousness.
"Din"
"What!?"her voice trembled confused.
"My name is Din Djarin,"
She took a breath As a smile reformed on her pale face.
"You told me it"
She said,her voice as a soothing whisper.
"Of course partner,"
He placed his gloved hand on hers.
"Huh!Partner?" She replied confused.
"Yes.I want you to work beside me.If this is what you desire?"
He questioned,deep down hoping she'd accept the offer.He loved her presence around himself.Her company.Her braveness.Her humour.Her kindness but yet being such a badass.He loved it all. Every feeling and every heartbreak from what he has lost many many years ago she somewhat brought light and happiness to his self.Sharing his name was something he never even thought about sharing even though he was going against his culture.
"It is!!!Id be gladly to work besides you any day" Blaise squealed In excitement,waking the child up from its deep sleep. She soon realises,covering her mouth. "Omg,sorry little one!!"
The child cooed and then snuggled back into her neck.
"Do I need to reconsider of what I just asked?I can't have you squealing around on the job" He replied dumbfounded sarcastically with a small smile appearing under his helmet.
"Nononononono!!" She whined.
"Good" He said with a quiet chuckle.
She sits up putting the tired child next to her side.
"Wait..did.did you just laugh?!?" Blasie questioned in all seriousness.
"No."
Blaises eye contact becomes more steady as a smile started to form on her face.

"You Did!didnt you?stop lying," She burst out into laughter nudging him in the shoulder.
"Ok.Maybe I did,but you can't go telling everyone,I don't want people thinking I'm a softie," He joked around.
Her eyes widened,is he really the same hunter she met not too long ago?The same one who's voice was so flat and plain with no emotion whatsoever?Now he's cracking a blimen joke?
"I promise I won't tell~"
The room went to an awkward silence for a few minutes making the Mandalorian break the steady quietness purposely. He looks down at Blasie making her to look up at him.
"You should rest up,"
The sweet girl nods back,he turns and goes to exit the room collecting his weapons but before closing the door he faces back in for one more quick glance.Her eyes closed as she starts falling asleep.He leaves the room walking towards the front entrance.Usually he's super protective over the child but this time he new it would be safe along with Blasie back at the room.The Mandalorian walks till he finds a quiet and empty place where he gazed into the distant.

I watched the recent starwars the clone wars ep and I don't even know how to process everything😭I loved it soooo much!but realising that Anakin will no longer be himself is so sad and the fact that it's almost the end of the series🥺damn u George Lucas and Dave filoni ahhhhhh why must u do this to us wahhh😂
