Louis POV

¡¡Beep beep beep beep beep beep!!

"Damn fucking alarm." I say under my breath. I lie there for a minute. Just like any other morning, I am wishing I am out of here. It's not healthy for me to be in this house. In this room. In this bed. The memory still lingers. I think it always will. But just like every other memory that seems to break me down a little more, I just push it away, forget and shut down once again. Again. And again. And again.

¡¡BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!

"Okay, okay! I'm up, I'm getting up!"
The alarm won this round.. & every round leading up to this one.
Just like any other morning, I head to the bathroom, strip off whatever
I have on, turn on the water and get in.

"Alright, mate: what do you have planned for this weekend? Well, like
any Saturday, you have Physics and then Trig Honors. Have I ever told you
how bloody smart you are? " I compliment myself. No matter how weird it
may seem, talking to myself about my plans for the upcoming days always
seem too soothe me and get me ready for the day.
" Later on Saturday, aren't you meeting up with Zee and Fia for a couple
drinks? Yes, oh how fun! " I chuckle at my strange habit and continue,
" Hm, Sunday Sunday Sunday... Are you doing anything that day, mate? Eh,
why not just take the day off. " Though I love being able to be with friends, I also
love having unplanned days and just be alone with myself.
I finish up with my shower, dry myself and finally get dressed. I check my clock
and read the time, 10:52. "Shit." I hiss under my breath. Class starts at 11:10 and my house was a good 20 minutes away. I throw on my shoes, grab an apple, my backpack and my phone.

Once I am in the car, I open my screen to see 14 text messages from Zayn,
three missed calls joined with two voicemails. Zee, what's wrong? I knew something was up so I instantly call him back. Zayn pleeeease pick. I'm worried now. By the third ring, I hear a groggy Zayn on the other line.
"Yeah?"
"Zayn?! Oh god, thank god! Are you okay? What's wrong?! Do I need to ski-"
"Lou, Louis, calm down please. I jus- I need to ask you something, mate."
"Wha- wait so nothing's wrong?"
"Yes, so don't freak yourself out. It's nothing bad, I promise."
"So-so what do you need to ask me?"
"Lou, please don't get all stand-off-ish and mad when I tell you what I did. Okay?"
"No promises.."
"Okay.." This motherfucker..

"I set you up on a date with a great guy. Lou, I promise you, when you meet him,
you are gonna be speechless. He is really amazing. His name is Harry. Him and Li have been best mates since they were 5 and have been inseparable ever since. I don't know, we think it would be a good fit. Can-I mean... will you?"

I didn't know what to say. Just wow. I really don't know what to say to Zayn.
I don't want to be mad at him for doing something like this. To him, he is being a great best friend and is gaining major brownie points for doing me this. Why doesn't he understand I'm still too scared. Too unprepared and still too scarred.

"Lou? You still there, babe?" My breath hitches at the idea of me going on a date
and what could happen. Pull yourself together, Tommo. Get a fucking grip.
"Y-yeah I'm here, Zee."
"Louis, I'm sorry. I really am bud. If you don't want to go that's perfectly fine.
It was- well, it was a stupid idea. I kn-"
"When and where?" I must've shocked him because he seemed taken aback by my answer. "Wa-wait, for real? You're not just bullshitting me?"
"Tell me before I change my mind, Malik."
He breathed out in a mix of relief and accomplishment, "Great. Oh this is so great, Lou. Okay, Sunday at 7:20. You have to meet at the Ground Cafe. We went a there a couple times last year. It's on the corner of Emery Way and University, 'member?"
"Yeah. I'll be there. I'll see you later, Zee"
"K, see ya tonight."
And with that the call was done and I suddenly had plans for tomorrow.
I sigh and start the car.
"Sunday at 7:20."
