Hiding

"agh ah" she groaned as she moved to get up and out of bed. Last night had been a bad one and she was sure she was going to have to cover some bruises. She got up and went to the mirror. bruises covered her legs, belly, arms up to her wrists and chest. She went to the draw and pulled out a T-Shirt and some jeans. She put them on and went over to her makeup. First she applied it to her face and then she took the foundation to her chest to cover the bruises visible. She made sure no one would see them and then grabbed her jacket and put on her shoes. Her T-Shirt was a light long sleave plaid shirt so no one could see but she wouldnt be too hot during the day. She pulled her hair into a ponytail, grabbed her gun and her badge and left. Soon enough she was walking her way upstairs.

"Hay Upton" Kevin said
"What oh hi" She said startled she hadn't expected to be late this morning. She carefully took her jacket of and placed it on her chair and sat down, silently wincing as some bruises hit the chair. "you alright Hailey?" She heard the worried voice of her partner and looked up to see him and the rest of the unit staring at her "What?" she said hoping to get out of it
"Are you okay? You sort of winced as you sat down" well shit how was she supposed to get out of this one "NO yea im fine, dont worry i promise im fine" "okay" he held his hands up defensively. Everyone got back to work. About an hour later Platt walked up the stairs. Hailey was laughing at something Jay had said "UPTON your boyfriends here he says he needs to speek with you" Her face dropped but then picked up again in a smile. "Be down in a sec" she stood up and walked downstairs. "Brad what are you doing here?" "We need to speek now" "okay come here" She walked to a room with no surveillance cameras. He started getting mad about something she probably did wrong. She learned to drown it out and just say im sorry. Today that wasn't enough. He threw a swift blow to the abdomen, slapped her face, tripped her up and kicked her legs. When he was done he walked out leaving Hailey on the floor she stood up and checked for visible blood. There was none so she stood up, pulled her hair out of the ponytail to cover the red mark on her face and left aswell, wincing as she made her way back upstairs. "Whats up is everything alright?" Jay asked worry lacing his voice as Hailey made it up to the top of the stairs. " uh yea yea im fine" She said as she sat back on her chair, again silently wincing but this time because of a sharp pain in her abdomen an "ah" slipped out and Jay looked over "Hailey are you sure" "YES JAY IM FINE, GOD JUST STOP PLEASE" She shouted and stormed out to the changing room. Hank looked at Jay through the glass and jay held is hands up in a "IDK" position. Rojas stood up about two minutes later and followed Hailey.
