I opened an tutorial and saw how to do hair in a bun. After making my hair successfully, I started to apply my make up. Since my dress was blue I decided to do a dark blue eyeliner, smoke purple eye shadow, I putted on black mascara, some pink lipstick and than some lip gloss. I wore my dress, and it fitted me perfectly. I wore my shoes, took my mask and my purse. 

-Wow, Caroline you look amazing dear. 

-Thank you, it means a lot coming from you.

-Have fun darling, don't forget to tell me everything in the morning. Don't come to soon.

-Okay bye, have a nice evening.

I went outside and Ric was waiting for me.

-Good evening miss, you look amazing.

-Good evening Ric, thank you.

I entered in the car, and RIc started to drive.

-Are you nervous about tonight?

-To be honest yes. I am nervous.

-I remember your grandma on her last ball. How is she doing?

-She had better days, thank you for asking.

-Ohh that's bad Miss. Forbes always was the better person in a room. We soon will arrive, put on you mask.

-Uhh okay...

I puted on my mask, and a lot of cameras were flashing and the paparazzies were asking as many questions as they could.

-Miss I will open you car door and you will be asked a lot of questions.

-It's okay Ric I got it.

-Okay...                                        Than Ric came and opened my car door. I climbed of the car with my mask on and as I turned to face the cameras several light flashes I could here people say different. As I smiled one report caught on me.

-Hello, your lok is amazing, may I know who hides behind these mask?

-Thank you, well this night is about to keep our identity secret but our cards open. 

-A mistery you are I see, a cinderella too. Have a nice evening miss.

With that I left the reporter, and I entered the ball room, I was amazing it stairs, some beautiful chandeliers, and the room was full of people laughing and enjoying themselves. As I went down the stairs, I caught a glimpse of a girl and a boy who looked known to me. I aproched the girl.

-Hi, can I ask you something?

-Hmm yeah sure.

-Are you Elena Gilbert?

-Yes I am.

-Oh my god, Elena it's me Caroline.

-Wow Caroline, how are you? I have missed you.

Than Damon approached us.

-Damon it's Caroline.                                          Elena said really happy.

-Oh hey, Caroline how have you done?

-I am fine thank you, what are you two doing here.

We chatted for some time, and Damon and Elena were here because they were invited by Elijah Mikaelson. They were engaged now. 

-Caroline know I will have to still my fiancé.

-Yeah take her no problem don't let me come in between.

-Caroline meet me tomorrow at 10 o'clock for brunch.

-Don't worry Elena, have fun see you.

-You to Care.

I took a drink in my hand and saw the banquet, there were different deserts. I approached the table full of desserts. I took one and soon I was eating the full table.

-Damn this sweets are good, how do they make them so good. Mhmm

-Easy there love, people might be worried from the sound you make.

-Kough Kough, OMG you scared me. Don't creep on people like that.

He chuckled

-Oh love, it wasn't my intention to startle you. In my defense I did spoke to you before, but you were admiring you sweets, and talking to them apparently.

-Well quit the humor you have.

-I am not known for my humor, but for you I will let it slip. I am Klaus Mikaelson and you are dear?

-I thought this was a masquerade ball.

With those words I gave him a smile and went to the ballroom. He smiled back at me and as soon as I started to dance he came from behind me. First he touched my hand, than started to touch my arm and than whispered in my ear.

-You look so familiar love. Have we met before?

As he spoke against my neck, shivers went down to my spine. Than he turned me to face him and he said.

-Why all this mystery love?

-Where is the fun in that.

Soon we started to dance the night away, I felt safe and happy in his arms, but as all good things this soon had to end. But until the ending I was going to enjoy it.
