I paced near the bathroom door for about the fiftieth time this morning, it was the first day back to school after the summer holidays and my idiot younger brother was hogging the bathroom. I pounded my fists on the door, screaming his name as well various threats if he didn't come out in the next ten seconds.

"Baxter, I swear to God if you're not-" I began my threat but stopped as the door finally swung open, "About damn time!"

"I wasn't even that long," Baxter scoffed. I gave him a are-you-fucking-serious look, not that he seemed to notice since he wasn't able to go two minutes without looking at himself in the mirror. He was currently running his hands through his product filled blonde hair, I literally had to drag him away from the mirror in order to get myself ready. God, this kid took more time to get ready than I did and Im a girl.

I had about fifteen minutes to get ready so everything was rushed, I left my hair down since it wasn't working with me at the moment and threw on a plain black beanie. I quickly brushed my teeth, put foundation on along with my usual mascara and Baby Lips lip balm. Seven minutes left. I rushed in my room and threw on the first thing I found, which happen to be black ripped jeans, a white crop top and of course I had to pair them with my white Converse. Four minutes. I ran downstairs and straight into the kitchen, where I was greeted by my mother and chef. A plate of fresh, chocolate-chip pancakes was placed in front of me as I sat down on a bench stool,

"Morning mum," I said with a huge chunk of pancake in my mouth.

"Morning sweetie. Shit I'm late," she mumbles with a glance at her watch, "Goodbye, love you and have a good day." With that and a goodbye kiss on the forehead my mum was out the door, and that was probably the longest conversation we'll have this week. My parents were work-o-holics, which is reason why my brother and I were basically raised by hundreds of nannies. Sure having money was great, I got five star meals everyday along with pretty much anything I wanted but I would trade it all to have my parents at least pay more than ten minutes of attention to me and my life.

One minute. I scarfed down my last pancake while running around the house for the various bits and pieces I still needed to pack. Thirty seconds. I slung my bag over my shoulder and ran to the front door, grabbing my skateboard the process.

"Lets go Baxter!" I called from downstairs as I swallowed the final remains of my pancake, which was fantablous by the way. Baxter came jogging downstairs, bag hanging off his shoulder and skateboard in hand, just like me. We headed outside, locking the door behind myself and began skating to school. We had own cars of course but personally we enjoyed skating to school, and Baxter couldn't legally drive alone. "Ten seconds to spare, that is a new record." I informed my brother with a wink,

"Please tell me again why you time yourself?" He questioned with a raised brow,

"Because...I can," I said unsure of my answer, its not like I had anything better to say. Baxter rolled his eyes and skated ahead, in which I took as a challenge for a race to school.

"How do you always beat me?" Baxter cried out as he arrived, two minutes behind me I must add.

"Um because Im freaking amazing," I told him as if it was obvious,

"Mhm," he mumbled with a roll of his eyes. I smirked while ruffling his hair, which he absolutely hates. He gave me death glare as he fixed his hair and within two minutes completely abandoned me for his friends.

"Addison!" I heard a familiar deep voice call, I spun around and was instantly greeted with hug which took me off the ground. A grin spread across my face as I came face to face with my very own BFG(Big Friendly Giant).
