CHANEL
Cairo stayed there making eye contact with me for what seemed like forever. I couldn't look away which made our exachange a field day for Asha. Mir came back sliding on the other side of me and taking his drink.
"You good you look a little uncomfortable or something" He said touching my hand making me jump. I looked at him for a second before snapping out of it.
"Yea I'm good" I said glancing back over to where Cairo was. He smirked then walked away, he knew exactly what he was doing and it worked.
Mir started talking but I couldn't even comprehend what he was saying, my thoughts were louder than the music playing.
"C'mon girl lets go dance Samir watch our drinks please" Asha said sliding out my chair, she definitely knew something was up and I was grateful she realized it and got me away from Mir.
"Bu-" Mir tried to say before she linked arms with me and pulled me into the crowd.
Soon after we were closer to another lounge area where two girls were talking loudly over the music. Asha started swaying to the music pretending not to b listening but we both knew she was. I folded my arms watching her then looking around, I hoped what I saw was just the drink talking. I could hold my liqour but maybe what I had was just too strong or something.
"Soo you wanna tell me what that was all about" Asha asked snapping me back into reality. Too many times I found myself lost in space tonight and we'd just gotten here!
"Uh let's just say we got history and leave it at that please" I said still looking around a bit paranoid now.
"Oh yea I know the feeling girl ain't shit niggas ain't worth being remembered" One of the girls from the couch chimed in. Asha and I both snapped our heads to look at them, we hadn't even noticed they weren't talking anymore.
"Unless the dick too bomb!" Asha laughed making them laugh along with her. I couldn't laugh cause I knew that shit was true. I wasn't good at laughing ag my own pain.
"Im Dana by the way.. Y'all some baddies come sit with us" She said scooting over on the couch.
She looked so familiar, and I could've sworn I'd seen her somewhere before or maybe I was still tripping.
"My boyfriend owns the club just tell the bartender what y'all want and you won't have to pay I'm sure he'll understand" She flipped her hair, obviously feeling confident about hitting a gold mine or something.
"Yea that's cool" I added in looking through the crowd.
"Oh honey it's more than just cool we've been together for like a year and He spoils me..he's got a friend I could hook you up with" she winked at me then looked at Asha smiling.
"You said Troy was all mine though" The other girl said with a unit on her face.
"Yea we good anyway we both got some fine mens" Asha said smiling and pulling out her phone.
Dana smiled still feeling overly confident in her self, she must not have come from our neighborhood, or maybe she did and just wasn't used to getting anything. I didn't know and I really didn't care af this point.
"Ash let's go get a few drinks and dance, I didn't wear this outfit to sit here and look pretty" I said getting up and pulling my skirt down some.
She followed looking back at the girls and smiling, "It was nice meeting y'all hopefully we can link up again"
"Oh just find me before y'all leave I'll give y'all my number" Dana said winking again before turning to the other girl again.
Asha linked her arm to mine guiding me over to the bar, Mir wasn't there and neither were our drinks.
I hadn't even gotten a message from him saying where he might have went, hopefully he was okay though."Damn I hope those drinks wrre paid for before the nigga just up and left us" Asha said sliding onto the stool.
"Yea he did but oh well I guess, he didn't text me... just order me what you getting, I wanna feel it tonight" I said sliding my phone on the bar.
Asha order up a few shots and we took them together. Not long I started to feel a buzz but she kept order more and I kept taking more. It probably wasn't the wisest decision but I knew I wasn't taking the chance of getting sloppy at a new club and surrounded by these people.
"Cmon bitchhh lets go dance!" Asha yelled snatching me off the stool and almost dragging me to the dance floor.
I felt myself moving but I honestly didn't even know what I was doing. Between the alcohol and the music I was just vibing in my own world. I felt someone come up behind me but the was the least of my concerns at this point and so I danced harder. I noticed Asha had stopped dancing and instead decided to record.
I felt hands grab my waist and quickly brushed them off, the least they could do was not touch after getting a dance like this from me. I just hoped I wouldn't remember anything tomorrow.
15 minutes and 5 songs later...
"Asha Imma go to the bathroom" I yelled to her over the music. She nodded but kept dancing on some nigga who'd walked up, the one from behind me had disappearedand so I'd been dancing along for the past 10 minutes I think.
I stumbled to the bathroom and examined myself in the mirror. A complete mess. Luckily the bathroom was empty and I could be alone to sort myself out, until the bathroom door opened and I heard a click.
