𝙃𝙀𝙍 𝙁𝙄𝙍𝙎𝙏 𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙃 𝙔𝙐𝙂𝙄 𝘼𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙀 was only one of the many encounters she's experienced before—yet this particular one held a special place in her heart over all the rest. maybe as insignificant as it may seem, first meeting this boy was how everything started off ; began ; propelled forward into the hopeful future where all their hopes and dreams lied dormant, waiting for the rightful path to be carved out. meeting this boy brought her great joy in the world that felt impossible to be in whilst it crashed down all around her. meeting this boy swept her off her feet in a great ocean of emotions and feelings even she herself couldn't explain. he gave her his smile, his jokes, his beautiful words that slipped from his lips time to time—those words probably not meant for just anyone. he gave comfort, shelter when everything hit the fan, a safe place to store her secrets. but of all this love and light he brought and embraced, that simple sweet charm hiding that genuine and infatuated grin, who could have possibly guessed that this kind, compassionate, and caring boy, had so much darkness latched and forever attached to his soul? why was she unable to unveil the truth behind those sad lies just meant to block up the evil hiding beneath those constant bandages and bruises littering him? meeting him that day, seeing him, knowing him, healing him.. that day was most important, most memorable, because if they had never crossed paths—their chances of saving each other would become just out of reach...
and so, at that point then—will they dream of heaven?

the cool, merciful, evening breeze that one, august night, blew across the plain like a gentle blow on a fully grown dandelion. it rippled against the soothed waves of the lake's water, it combed through the grand abundance of foliage growing from their trunks and branches. it blew against houses, filled with families cooking their dinners and resting up for the next upcoming tomorrow. and it pressed up against yashiro nene's light complexion, ruffled her long locks of pale blonde hair—tips dyed the most pleasant of teals. it fluffed her magenta pleated skirt and the loose cream colored shirt matched with it. this comforting breeze embraced her like a cocoon of warmth as she made way down the peaceful street of kamome.
it was such a pleasant evening, yet something plagued this poor girl's mind like a pesky mosquito never to let up. she wore the most discomforted of faces, and her eyes read the agony she must be going through. her hands clutched the straps of her old pink polka-dotted bag to the point where her knuckles went white, so unusual for someone as sweet and lighthearted as her to be acting so tense. clearly something was on her mind, and she hadn't the slightest clue as to what to do about it.
nene bit at her soft bottom lip and trekked on down the aged streets of kamome, glancing over here and there, avoiding other people who happened to be out at the same time, urgeny looking for a specific place dire for her specific needs. seriously, what is making this girl so on edge? what are the troubles that lay beneath her every moment? she walked and walked, searched high and low, so frantic that she nearly missed it completely, though she found it, and practically sighed in relief. the pharmacy.
now you may be wondering why exactly she had been so worried about finding the pharmacy, inquiring why a pharmacy in the first place. what has poor nene to be worried about to need a pharmacy? well...
"please, m'am—i'm begging you! my mother needs this! i promise to pay you back as soon as i get the money, i-i—" she was cut off by a that hag's hand shoving out in her face, refusing to hear anymore of this ridiculous story about this young girl's sad and dying mother perishing from an incurable disease, cancer, bits and bits at a time. how can someone refuse to care about someone who needs dire care? it's preposterous!!
