Oikawa never liked losing, but some how this loss felt different. It was like someone gutted him several times and instead of dying he was bleeding slowly and suffering. Alone now in his room, midnight moon shining in through the open windows a light breeze flew and the chilled air hit his face. It was dead silent in the house and the streets. After the match the whole team had gone to eat noodles and somehow ended up at their school gym. Practicing until their limbs grew stiff and their body's protested from further movement.

he remembered what iwaizumi said to him "your're the most amazing setter japan has ever seen". Not more amazing then kageyama apparently, he thought but ofcourse he'd said "Wrong iwa-chan i'm the most amazing setter this world has ever seen". He smiled at the memory. He placed his duffel bag on his bed and went to the sink in the bathroom and washed his face. lifting his face and seeing his reflection in the mirror above the sink something in him broke. Tears streamed down his face. He knew he lost but it really hit him this time.

He lost no, They lost, after all his work and all his sacrifices he couldn't best the two people he wanted to see lose, to bow to him. he gripped the side of the sink. He wanted to scream he wanted to rip this whole world apart. His highschool was over he will not quit volley ball but where would he go, where would those two ghosts not haunt him anymore

he had to get out of this room he could feel it closing in. Even though he could feel the chill wind against his body he was starting to sweat. He had to get out, and so he did he ran out of the room into the cold dead street, he ran and ran until he could no longer feel ushijima's ghost taunting him "your're worthless" until he couldn'nt see kageyama's face fresh with  victory. he looked up unaware of where he had run to. He felt he knew the place and finally it dawned on him. He had run to iwaizumi's home.
