Mia slumbered into her room a broken girl. She found her way, slowly, over to her bed and collapsed. That's when the tears came. She tried to hold them back at first but they overpowered her, soon she was sobbing, hard. She couldn't take it anymore, people hating her because of her weight, her appearance, everything about her she wanted to change. From her mess of hair that never did what she wanted, to the misshapen, fat legs. The only person who didn't seem to have any problem with her was Zak. God she wished he was there now, Zak could make her smile however upset she was. She held back another wave of tears while she thought of him. She wanted to be more like him, he was always upbeat and he could make anyone happy, she wanted to be more like any other of the girls at school the way they did their hair, their pretty faces, their skinny body and the fact that all the boys wanted them. It was so unfair! They didn't have to go through everything she did. She wanted to have things their way for a change instead of her own. SHUT UP YOU ANOREXIC BASTARD!! She heard her mother shout; undoubtedly at her. Not her real mother, her step mother, this woman would never be her real mother, She would never let her be. That was the last thing she remembered before the nightmares pulled her in.
