Warning: Very detailed mention of a horrible act

Rain. That's all Shrek could see. It poured loudly on to the ground even while the weather forecast said it would be sunny. Almost like it was singaling that you should always expect the unexpected.
"Tsk.. What a nuisance," the green ogre muttered bitterly, getting out of his Tesla Cyber Truck. "At least I'll finally get to see Pablo."
The ogre walked to his door, the pattering rain falling on him. He fumbled with his keys before inserting it into the lock and finally getting inside the grey house.
"Honey, I'm home."
There was no response.
He kicked his boots off and proceeded to lie his coat on the coat rack, laying his keys on a small table by the wall.
'She usually says hello, so why not today?' Shrek wondered.
As the he walked deeper into his home he began hearing noises, noises that sounded of two people talking. It was coming from upstairs, so like any ogre, he began to investigate. He walked up the stairs onto the second floor, following the noises to his and his wife's shared room.
"Is someone.. Is someone there with her?" He whispered to himself in disbelief. It was very strange for Pablo to invite someone over, she usually didn't like people. Shrek sucked in a breath and let his hand grasp the doorknob. He slowly turned it and pushed it open revealing his wife and another man...playing Minecraft together.
"Huh?" Pablo let out, "Wait, Shrek honey?! It's not what it looks like I promise!"
"...And I thought you loved me," Shrek hissed. "Get out of my house."
"But hon-"
"I said get outta me swamp!" He yelled, his face almost tearing up while looking at the computer screens.
The unknown man and Pablo left seemingly scared of Shrek's wrath, leaving the ogre alone, and completely and utterly heartbroken. But then he walked forward, to the computer screen where he saw Pablo's Minecraft dog. He knew what to do. It was revenge. He sat on the chair and with a diamond sword he slashed the dog, again and again, successfully killing it.
After that, he just left, no burial for the dog, no contacting Pablo, no nothing. That was the last day Shrek was last seen,
until March 14th of 2021, exactly a year after his disappearance.
He was found in a meadow, where his light green skin blended in with the grass. The woman who found him, Elizabeth Catastrophe, reported this to the police, leaving when they arrived. That was when Shrek confessed of his crime. His crime of killing Pablo's Minecraft dog. Disgusted by this horrible act, they immediately detained Shrek, bringing him to the police station where they jailed him. Later, in court it was decided that he should be sentenced to death. Shrek didn't fight this, he was aware of the crime he committed, and he was ready to accept his fate.
But she would never let that happen.
Ekemeranrvy was Shrek's best friend, and she was absoloutly divestated when she heard of Shrek's disappearance and now seeing the news of Shrek's soon to be execution and his crimes she had mixed emotions about him.
"Shrek killing a Minecraft dog? But he would never do that without reason, right?" she murmered to herself, almost in a desperate attempt to convince herself that it wasn't true. "Wait, Pablo! I should ask Pablo!"
She phoned up Pablo, and that's when Pablo told her everything. Now Ekemeranrvy knew who the real monster was. With this information Ekemeranrvy went to the police, claiming that this was the reason Shrek would commit such a crime.
"It wasn't his fault!" She shouted.
Their faces paled, they were about to send Shrek to be executed without even knowing the full story. But at the end of the day, the police couldn't decide. But the court could.
The court, after hearing the truth was soon agreed that Shrek should not be executed and that Pablo should be jailed. They told Shrek that Ekemeranrvy was the only reason he is still alive right now, and that they were sorry.
