My alarm clock has been going off for about a half an hour now. I look over, it says 6:30.
"Great, another fun day at high school." I mumble to my self.
I dreaded every second at that school. I slowly get out of bed and get dressed. Today I'm wearing a mint green skater skirt, a black crop top with a tan cardigan and a gray beanie paired with black vans.
I brush my teeth grab my backpack and rush down the stairs trying not to miss the bus. As the bus approached I saw all the kids staring at me, making rude comments about every little thing. I take a deep breath and one foot at a time I get on the bus taking the first seat available.
Finally as we get to school I was the first one to get off. I saw matt waiting for me with a big smile on his face. I ran up to him and gave him a hug and a kiss. Everyone laughed and stared at us, pointing. But we didn't care, I was so happy to see him. Matt grabbed my hand and we walked to class together, he's in my homeroom, first period and fifth period. For homeroom we can sit anywhere, its just for 15 minuets. I sit next to matt and he talked about having a movie night tomorrow at his house. He said we could have the house all to our selves.
At lunch, as usual we sat together. There was these other 2 kids at the way end of the table, but we just ignored them. I was excited for movie night tomorrow. I asked him what movie we were going to watch but he said it was a surprise.
Fifth period rolled around, it was language arts, and the meanest girl in my grade who hates my guts is in that class. Her name is Miranda and she's a real snob. Matt sits and the table over and Miranda sits behind me. We have a project assigned, just a small one all you have to do in write a poem and type it then share it in front of the class. "Ummm Hannah and mir-. Oh gosh I thought to my self. " yeah Hannah and Miranda, you will be working on the project together." Miranda comes over to my table and sat down. She looks into my eyes with the meanest look and says that I will have to do all the work. Honestly, I didn't care I was good at writing poems. So it didn't really bother me.
After school I come home and my mom still isn't there, she has her purse but her phone is still here. I'll give it one more night thinking in my head, but I knew she wouldn't be home. I made some Mac and cheese and sat at the dinning room table doing my homework. All of the sudden my phone starts going off like crazy. I look at it and I see a text from Sabrina, Miranda's "best friend in the whole wide world."
It says: Hannah is better off dead. Other people are saying: Yeah I deff agree, she should drink some bleach, who would want to be around her she smells like a sewer. I throw my phone across the wall so hard and I put my head in my knees and started to cry. I'm not strong, I'm not as strong as matt I can't just ignore them.
I look down at my wrist seeing the cuts from last week, Matt still doesn't know about them. I go up stairs and make one more, and another and another. I look at myself in the mirror my face wet with tears and red from rubbing them off. Blood dripping into the sink. I was worth less. I wrapped my wrist up and called matt, I needed him. I used my home phone that was in my room. With about 10 minuets matt comes rushing in my room. I'm laying on my bed sobbing. He picks me up and sits me on his lap, comforting me like a baby. He looks down at my wrist, the bandage red with blood. I look up a see a tear roll down his cheek.
"You have to stop Hannah, please you have too." He whispered. I look back up at him, he's still crying and I just nodded my head.
That night matt is still here with me laying with me in bed. I look over and he's sound asleep but he's still holding onto me. Slowly I drift off to sleep.
