Laura POV:

Hi, i'm Laura Marano and i just turned 16 two days ago. I have one older brother and 2 older sisters, heres the order;

Me (Laura): 16

Olivia: 17

Ellignton: 18

Vanessa: 19

Our parents arn't home much, but when they are it's nice

"Laura!" I hear someone yell from downstairs "We're gonna be late to school!"

"I'll be down in a few!" i yell back

I was wearing a black tank top with a sun flower in the middle, a navy jean jacket (sleevless), a yellow skirt thats kinda like a tutu but its not, a brown belt, white knee socks, and high brown boots with my long side bangs pinned up with a clip, and my skirt high with my shirt tucked in

I grab my flip phone and run downstairs

"Ok, i'm here" i say and they all get their backpacks and so do i

We all run to the car without eating and Vanessa starts the car

I was sitting next to Olivia

"So how'd you sleep?" she asks me

"Good, I guess" I say and she nods

We finally arrive at school and all go our seperate ways

"Laura!" i hear someone yell as i opened my locker

I look behind me and see my best friend Sabrina running towards me

"Hey Sabrina" I say opening my locker

"How was your summer?" she asks me

"Oh the usually, writing songs and working at my dads music store and reading" I say smiling

Sabrina is like the only person i can be myself around and not almost faint talking to, also Rowan, Peyton, and Corey, but their not here today

"i can tell your exited for the first day of school" she says and i jump up and down exitedly and she chuckles shaking her head

"So how was your summer?" I ask

"The usual home bored sneaking into Rowan's place every once in a while" she says and i giggle

"So what's your schedual?" she asks me grabbing it outa my hand

she looks it over and turns out we have some classes together including first period

Sudenlly the bell rings and i close my locker grabbing my books

"C'mon Sabi, we're gonna be late for first period!" I say pulling her arm and she takes it by surprise

We both run into the class and i look around and the front seats are all taken

Darn it

We both walk to the back of the class and sit in the seats

she sits at the end and i sit next to her with an open seat next to me

"hello class, I am Mrs. Cristie and i will be your algebra teacher for rest of the year" a young blonde lady with her hair in a bun says

"ok so our fi-" She tries to say before she gets inturupted by a blonde boy running into the class and slids his sneakers on the floor and quickly stops before falling

Mrs. Cristie crosses her arm and stares at him with her eyes filled with hatred

"May you care to explain why your late Mr...." She says waiting for him to answer

"Ross, Ross Lynch" The blonde tall boy says

"Lynch! I had your brothers and sister" she says and under her breath she says something but i cant really make it out

"So why don't you sit in the back next to the girl with the brunette hair" she says and i quickly look up after doodling in my notebook

He walks to the seat next to me and gets his books out

He looks over to me but i resist my self from looking his way

"I'm Ross" he says to me

I look over to him and swallow

"I-i'm Laura" i say in a whisper and he smiles

"So class I will give you the rest of the class time to talk to eachother and get to know eachother" the teacher says and instantly voices scatter all through the room

I was about to turn to Sabrina when her name got called on the speakers

"Mrs. Sabrina Carpenter to the front desk please" she looks at me and i look back at her and shrug

she gets her bag and walks out of the class

I turn to my notebook and start doodling until someone taps my shoulder

I turn to see that it's Ross

"Uh, h-hi" I say without trowing up

"Hey, wanna talk?" he asks me

"Uh, sure?" i say unsure and he smiles

"So tell me about yourself" he says

i take a deep breath and start

"Well, uh, i have an older brother and 2 older sisters, i uh, like music and song writing, and I have stage fright, and thats really all about me that's interesting" I say looking down

"You seem cool" he says which makes me look up to see him smile

"Thanks" i say "What about you?" I say

"Well, I'm Ross, I'm in a band with my family but it's not a full band cause' we need a drummer, i love performing and i have 3 other brothers and one sister and ya" he says "Oh and i can play alot of insraments"

"You seem nice" I say smiling

Sudenlly the bell rings which means it's the end of class and today i have my free period right now

I get up and grab my backpack

"hey!" I hear someone yell

I look back and it's Ross

He hands me a small paper

"Call me" he says with a wink and walks off

I stand their holding the paper in the middle of the class

What just happened

He jut gave me his number

I'm so confused

I soon gain structure and walk out of the class room trying to forget what happened but i can't

i walk to my locker to see Sabrina waiting their for me

"Hey Sabrina" i say just focusing on her right now

"Hey Laur" she says

"So what happened that you needed to leave class early?" I ask

"Oh uh my mom just forgot to give me something" she says and i nod

"I have free period right now wanna go to the bleachers and watch the football players tackling eachother!" She says enthusiasticly and i chuckle shaking my head

"Sure" i say and we both walk to the bleachers

When we get their I take out my song book and start working on the song i'm working on while Sabrina yells and claps and i chuckle from time to time
