Chapter 5: Raura

Laura POV:

Ever since that day at the library things haven't been awkward for Ross and me

He makes me feel special

I was walking down the hall to math class when I bumped into someone

"Oh I'm so sorry" I say and help her up but then I realized it was a person and freaked out

But for some reason I felt really safe around her

"It's ok you didn't mean any harm" she says getting up

"Oh my gosh! I love your tutu!" I yell

Did that just really come out of my mouth

I've never talked that loud before

"You do? No ones ever complemented it" she says

"Really? Cause' I love it" I say

Why are these words coming out of my mouth

"Thanks" she says with a smile "well I have to go to class, I'll see you around" she says to me and I smile and walk away

Whoa I just talked to someone without throwing up all over them

What is happening to me?

I was just about to enter my class when I feel two strong arms push me into a closet and shut the door

The lights turn on and I see the face

It's Derik and Cassidy...

"Hey Nerd!" They both say

I don't say anything

They have been bullying me my whole life

"So I see your wearing your regular boots and gross clothes today" he says with an evil chuckle

"Just please leave me alone" I say in a whisper

"Oh did, did she talk" Cassidy says sarcastically

"I think we should teach her to keep her mouth shut" Cassidy says right before she punches me in the stomach and I gasp for air

"And maybe this one" Derik says and punches me in the cheek, then Cassidy punches me in the stomach one more time that has me fall to the floor

"Bye loser" she says and they both run out

I lay their crying with my stomach in pain and my cheek throbbing

Suddenly the door opens and I see Peyton, Rowan, Sabrina, and Corey

"Laura!" They all yell

Peyton puts me up in his arms and they start to run

But before we could get anywhere my eyes shut and darkness takes over

Ow why does my face hurt so much

I open my eyes to enter a world of total whiteness

"Laura!" I hear voices yell and hug me

"What's going on?" I ask

"Are you ok?" A voice asks

Now all the light goes away and I can really see the face now, it was Rowan

"I'm ok" I say and get up before I get pushed back down

"Why did you do that" I say with a pause in the middle of every sentence

Because your gonna have a visiter soon

Right when she said that someone barged in through the school nurses doors

"Laura are you ok?" He asks

I smile

"I'm fine Ross" I say

"Well we're gonna leave you two alone" Rowan says as they all slowly walk out

"So ya uh byeeeeee" Corey says getting pulled by the shirt

Then he gets rubbed against the window staring at us and then gets pulled away

I giggle

"What are you doing here?" I ask Ross

"I came to check if you were ok" he says and I blush

"Do you really care that much about me?" I ask and he nods and I smile and hug him
