Chapter One: The Pounding on the

Window

It was a dark night outside the last Saturday of the month. The wind blew, the streets blank. I pulled up my covers and turned on my side. Drifting, asleep I heard a pounding on my

window. Again and again and again. I pulled the covers over my head and tried to fall back to sleep but the noise wouldn't stop. Again it pounded then I heard footsteps run across my roof.

I opened my eyes wide..... I sat up

and crepted to the window closing my eyes I took a deep breath and pulled my curtains apart. And there staring back at me was the ugliest face ever! Dripping from his lips was the red dye of blood. His eyes like to small black holes. His nose like a hole dug in the ground. But worst of all is teeth I froze his eyes met mine he opened his mouth and growled then screamed.

I quickly closed the curtains and waited until the noises left. I breathed heavily and closed my eyes a few times and opened them again. I cracked one side of the curtain. I closed my eyes and screamed, there was a bloody red handprint in the cornor of my window. This couldn't be real.... Could it???

Chapter Two: The Screams from my

Mother

Beep, beep, beep cracking my eye I looked at my alarm clock and hit the snooze. I sat up and stretched My arms. My feet slipped out of bed I looked out my window and the red handprint had disappeared. I swept to my closet and put on my boots I grabbed my raincoat.

Stumbling down the wicked stairs I heard noises in the hall then my mother scream. I raced back up the steps the door was locked! I pushed and pushed as the yelling and screaming got louder suddenly there was a huge thunk the screaming stopped everything was silent "mom" "mom" I shouted nothing.

I tear streamed down my face as I heard a sound coming from the bedroom a creepy sound one were a creature was laughing harder and harder louder and louder. The door finally opened as the creature slipped outside my eyes grew wide. It was an ugly creature blood dripping down from his lips two black eyeballs and a nose like a hole dug in the ground "it's him" I shouted "it's him!" I ran to the window were he slipped out looking into the cold rainy morning I saw nothing.

I turned around and knelt down beside my mom. Tears dripped of my chin. I picked her up and laid her on her bed, beside a red bloody hand print.

Chapter Three: A Day in the deep dark

Woods

I grabbed my mother and slowly carried her down the steps I walked out the back door and over the hill into the woods. I walked in farther and farther. I laid my mother on the ground next to a large tree and a patch of wet moist clovers. I looked around and found a large stone. I imprinted her name and the date on the side and lied it by her head.

When I stood up a black flash caught in the corner of my eye. I turned around frequently and there it was again coming closer and closer. I screamed and the figure looked into my eyes and hissed and screeched. He turned around with his black beady eyes and disappeared into the frosty rain. Leaving a trail of tiny drops of blood.

I followed his trail and it lead to an old tree trunk about 10 meters from my mother. Looking around i spotted on the top of an old piece of paper was a bloody red handprint. I flipped it over and written on the other side of the paper was the words Blood Master. I shrieked and turned away because under the words was a picture signed by a red bloody handprint. Beyond the whistles of the rain, past the animals in there bushes and trees I could hear the cries and screams of this awful creature. I could feel it following me and chasing my every footstep.

As I looked at my mother one more time the blood in her hair and running down her face dripping off and running onto the ground. I could hear the laughter and joys of the creature. Rejoicing and feeling my pain as a happy thing. I was mad, upset, but mostly terrified with where the Blood Master may strike next.

Chapter Four: A Long Trip Home

I stood up and left my mothers side. Still I couldn't bear to see my mother like this. How could someone even something as horrible and harsh as the Blood Master do this? I was scared but I made it on my way to life on my own.

My biggest problem was not letting anyone hear that I was on my own. My solution to that was to not be seen and not go out in the daylight. I headed past a couple of bushes and heard the rustling I turned around quickly unable to trust anyone or anything. Terrified I ran away.

Stumbling over the rocks, through a stream, past a patch of bushe?s through the dark tunnel over the bridge and up the large hill. I could feel the creature behind me. At every step there was a noise at every move there was a sound.

I hurried up the hill in my bright yellow raincoat and soaked red rain boots. I slowly made my way around the holes in the dirt and the trees in the ground and stumbled right back up to the back door. I made it inside and through the kitchen and the living room up the stairs and in to the hall I paused in fright "what do you want from me!"

All over the walls were the words LEAVE AT ONCE, IM COMING FOR YOU, LOOK OUT, WATCH YOURSELF,I SEE YOU, and on the carpet it read: THE BLOOD OF YOUR MOTHER WAS TASTY... LET'S SEE WHAT YOURS TATE LIKE. LOVE, THE BLOOD MASTER. Beside the carpet was a huge bloody handprint. I gasped and heard the laughing in the walls then I heard a voice calling my name.

Chapter Five: The Unknown Voices in

the Walls

It was screaming my name louder and louder. Echoing Down the hall though the bedrooms and out the windows. Down the stairs right past the kitchen table through the back door and into the wind.

Was this a sign? Should I go? The voice stopped and started talking he said; leave or you become breakfast in bed. Go or you'll wake up as me. Shoo this place is mine. Bye or never see light again.

I was puzzled! Was I dreaming? Where the voices a trick? Then he started again; Do you hear that? It's your mother screaming he played it over and over like a broken record... the tears dripped down and he started to laugh. "go away!" I shouted his voice faded "don't forget." it whispered and the wall it came in, and the wall it disappeared to left behind a red bloody handprint.
