Outside of the orphanage there was a car with a man putting suitcases in the trunk, a woman was helping him and there was a big crowd of children saying goodbye to G.  She hugged little girls as they wiped their faces.

“Do you really have to go, G?” one asked.

“Yes I do, but you know what, everything I taught you, you pass on to the other girls that need it.” G said.  She looked up and saw that Joseph just got outside and walked down the stairs. G ran up to him and gave him a big hug.  “I’m gonna miss you the most.” she said.

“I’ll look you up,” Joseph said.  He was about to let go, but he held on just a little longer, he could feel G’s tears dripping on his hoodie, he tried his best not to cry.  “Come on now, G the terrible, wipe those tears away. You’ve got a new adventure behind you, I say that because your new family is waiting for you in their car.” G looked behind her and wiped her tears.

“If you get adopted, you better call me or I’ll hunt you down.” she said. She gave him a smack on his arm and ran off to her parents.  Joseph watched as his closest friend drove off with her new family. Everyone waved as she drove off, then returned inside the orphanage, Joseph stayed outside for a while then was summoned by Crystal.

“Your punishment has been decided, young man.” she said.  Joseph looked at her ready to take it. “Last night we were robbed by racoons, clean the trash and see if there are any left.” she said.  Joseph sighed and walked to the back of the building, there was trash all over the floor.

“Aw come on guys, you had to make such a mess?” Joseph said.  He continued to clean up then heard a noise. He turned around and saw a racoon looking at him, studying his movements and looking curious.  “What do you want? Rotten apple core?” he waved the core in the air, it was then snatched out of his hand by a rope, the rope followed back to the racoon, who stood on two legs and walked like a person.

“Yeah, I’ll finish that core.” said the racoon.  Joseph looked at the racoon and screamed in terror, the racoon also screamed in terror.  Joseph fell backwards and was crawling on the ground.

“What the hell are you?” he asked.

“I’m a racoon, isn’t that obvious?” said the racoon.  “Now I’d love to stay and chat, but we need to get going.” he threw a net at Joseph and it captured him, the racoon cracked a bean and threw it on the ground.  The ground began to swirl around like how he saw it in the dream. The racoon pushed Joseph down the vortex and jumped in with him.

Joseph found himself spinning around in a bright vortex, with sparkles spinning, and a laughing racoon that was poking fun at him as they fell.

“What was in that trash?” Joseph asked.  He kept spinning and spinning until he finally was stable because the racoon stopped him from spinning.

“Alright, enough fun for me right now, let’s get home.” said the racoon.  He threw another bean into the vortex and a hole opened to a grassy place.  Joseph was pushed in and landed on the ground. He could feel the grass on his skin and hear chatter in the background, he was cut loose from the net.

“Hey man, I don’t know where I am, or who you are, but-” Joseph was shocked by what he saw, there were men wearing medieval clothing, armor, animals walking on two leggs.

There was a man wearing a green jacket with a brown vest under the jacket, he had light brown skin, sunset red hair, and horns on his head, with furry legs and hooves instead of feet.  He looked over at Joseph in shock.

“Well first things first, My name is T’rongk.” said a male voice.  Joseph looked over and saw a Centaur with black hair, pointed ears, a tattoo on his left shoulder, and a sword in sheath beside him.  “And second. You’re home young king, you’re back in MullenGuard.” Joseph didn’t know what to say. He was in total shock that all this exists.
