YOUR POV
I looked around the garden. Everything is so beautiful, if I didn't know any better, I wouldn't even know I'm in a war. Hearing a door open I turned around the see Red Eye. He walked over to me with a small, tiny smile on his face.
"Did you have a good morning darling?" The albino asked while taking the seat across from me.
"Y-yes. I did." I still couldn't look him in the eye, even with his mask on.
"Well, I'm glad. Now how do you feel right now? Are you enjoying your time here?" He continued.
"I'm enjoying my time here, but I have a question for you." He nodded and let me continue. "Why am I here? Why do you want me? Why didn't you just kill me like you did to Prince Valt?"
Red Eye didn't say anything for a second, then he responded. "I wanted to save you from corruption. Out of everyone, you were the only one who seemed to really care about your people and not just your face value. And when you made your choice to save your people yesterday, you clearly proved what I suspected all along. You are perfect. You are better than any of those past rulers. Why do you think I want you as my one and only queen."
When he finished, I tried to take in what he just said. How am I better than the past kingdom leaders. I started to fidget with my amulet. Suddenly, I see Red Eye's gave shot to my amulet. "W-what's the matter?"
"You had it all along." He mumbled.
"What do you mean Red Eye?"
"You had the amulet of (beyblade's name) all along. That's why when I went searching through the castle I couldn't find it. It's because you were wearing it all along." I don't understand what he's talking about in general, but before I was about to ask him, food came out. As a different array of seafoods all came out. Servers brought out a seafood tower, salmon, lobster, and whatever else you could think of. "This all was made by Ange, the main cook. Also one of the only ones I trust to not poison me or you." His voice went back to normal.
I still don't understand what he was talking about earlier, but that could wait. All the food looked delicious, so I dug in.
I really haven't seen protein as fresh as this for a long time.
Looking across the table I saw Red Eye acting all casual, but that still left another question for me, why kill the rulers so violently? Why kill Valt? He did nothing wrong.
Yet I was still afraid to ask him. I was still extremely afraid of the outcome. I've known how extreme he could get. When he killed heads of Kingdoms, they all ended very violently.
Shaking my head, I kept on eating keeping my eyes off of Red Eye. After we finished some of the seafood, another male waiter cleared out our plates and brought out a two slices of chocolate cake beautifully iced. He placed one of the slices in front of Red Eye, then he came over to me and put the other slice down in front of me. While the waiter did that, he looked at me and winked.
At this action, I blushed a tiny bit, not noticing Red Eye getting angrier by the second. Once the waiter left us, Red Eye excused himself. "I'll see you later, I need to take care of something right now." And with that, he got up and left me all alone to finish my slice of cake.RED EYE'S POV
That man. Flirting with my queen right in front of me!? How dare he.
Stomping through the castle down to the kitchen I took a breath. "I need to calm down..." I mumbled to myself. Opening the door I saw Ange, our head chef standing right at the front of the line.
"Ah! K-king Red Eye! I'm assuming the date went well?" She asked. Then she looked up at me and began looking extremely nervous. I guess my face really does reveal how angry I am right now. "W-what happened? Was the food not to her liking? I promise you I looked at her past profile when she used to eat here when you two were younger!" She kept spewing things out with a shaky voice. But I'm not here for her.
"Where was that waiter that served us our dessert." I asked, but more like commanded with the tone of voice I was using.
"Y-you mean Rio? Oh he's in the back." She responded.
"Got it." With that, I left the kitchen and found the head of my army and security, Rantaro.
He looked up at me, saluted, and he began. "The plan is almost on its was sir, I promise you by this time next week, we'll have the Kingdom of Dragons under our control."
"That's not my concern right now. But you know the waiter, Rio, who works downstairs?" I asked.
"Yes, I do. What does that have to do with the takeover sir?"
"It has more of something to do with my personal life. I want him gone. I don't care how, I just want Rio Grandemota gone and out of this castle. You know what, dead would be even better." Rantaro looked at me for a second, but nodded and complied with my commands and walked away.
I began to head back to mine and (y/n)'s room, but then I stopped right by the door when I heard two distinct voices coming from our room.
"Get away from me Wakiya! What do you want with me anyways!?" I heard me angel yell.
"You don't understand how much more I could give you (y/n)." I heard Wakiya respond.
I couldn't take it. I slammed open the huge door only to see my darling pinned against the wall. "GET THE HECK AWAY FROM HER!"_____________________________________________
