I woke up the next morning feeling like shit but at least I don't have work today I thought to myself I got out of bed to take a warm shower, after the shower I made myself some cereal for breakfast Colby's POV Colby: sigh* Sam I don't think y/n will forgive me Sam: don't stress yourself man just give her time Colby: yea I know but I really like her I said under my breath Sam: wait? You already like her that quick? Colby: I- yea I do Sam: well why don't you take her out somewhere to fix things between you too Colby: maybe your right Sam Sam: I'm always right bruther Colby: yea yea you don't have to rub it in Sam: okay but it's true (giggles) Colby: (giggles) thanks for the advice Sam I'm going to see her Sam: anytime Colby I left the house heading to y/n's apartment Y/n's POV I was watching tv when I heard a knock on my door I got up and looked through the peep hole to see Colby standing there I opened the door to see what was he doing here? Y/n: what are u doing here? Colby: I came to see if you wanted to go on a hike with me? Y/n: yea that's fine let me get ready first I step to the side letting him in Y/n: wait here I'll be back in a few Colby: okay I went to my room to change into something outdoorsy

I decided not to wear makeup and I put my hair up in a messy bun Y/n: okay I'm ready Colby: okay let- wow you look amazing Y/n: thanks I started to blush We left my apartment to Colby's car Y/n: so why did you want me to go hiking with you? Colby: well I thought we could sort things out between us Y/n: oh okay The rest of the car ride was silent till we reached our destination Colby: follow me I know a good place for us to talk Y/n: okay Even though I don't trust Colby yet I'm willing to give him a chance to explain himself Colby: here sit down I sat down on a bench with Colby doing the same Colby: look y/n I didn't want you to find out who I really was at the party Y/n: were you ever going to tell me? Colby: yes but not in the way you saw it Colby kept looking at the ground not making eye contact with me Y/n: Colby look at me Colby lifted his head up to me, his eyes sky blue the way his dark blue highlighted hair rested on his face his light pink lips parted slightly I wanted to kiss him but I don't think he feels the same way about me, but the way he looks is breathtaking Y/n: Colby i don't care that your a vampire I know it's not your fault your this way Colby: you really don't care? Y/n: no Colby I don't Colby: but what if I hurt you? I can never forgive myself Y/n: you won't hurt me Colby I know you won't I put my hand on top of his, he started smiling Colby: can we start over again? Y/n: yes I smiled at Colby earning one in return Colby: oh um y/n? Y/n: yes Colby? Colby: the group of people I introduced you to at the party are vampires too well not all of them Y/n: oh well can I meet them again to fully introduce myself Colby: sure let's go Y/n: okay
