"Hey!" I smile as I walk up to Sam and hug him from behind. He greets me back and flashes his oh-so-precious smile while chuckling.
"I thought you were skipping school today?" He says but it comes out more as a question. He must be a bit surprised because I have some big plans for this weekend and skipping school is definitely on my to do list.
"Well I am but I need you to come with me somewhere." I tug at his hand while looking at him with pleading eyes.
"Come on, Sammy, it's not like you're gonna miss anything important. Plus, spring break is basically here, why do you care that much?"
"I kinda skipped too much these past few weeks, I don't wanna get into trouble again, my parents will trap me inside the house if they find out I got suspended."
"This is not the real you, what are you talking about? That happened a month ago, there's no way they're gonna find out."
"I don't know, Chlo, it's just a few hours, it won't hurt anyone." He responds as if he's addicted to school.
"Sam, no one takes attendance when you're a senior and you're done with your tests anyway. Please come with me?"
"Ok, fine, whatever... Mrs. Barlow can fuck off anyway!"
"Aye, that's my boy!" I yell making Sam laugh. God, finally managed to convince him!
"So, where do you wanna go?" He questions as I lead him to my car.
"We have to get drinks. And I need you to come with me because those idiots won't believe me when I tell them I'm 21." I complain as I start the car.
"And you think they're gonna believe me?" He asks looking at me like I'm the biggest loser on this planet.
"You're the only person I could think of." I answer shortly, not making eye contact.
He chuckles and leans into his seat while I drive out of the school parking lot.
"Nash, Cam and the Jacks are gonna be here soon so we have to get the drinks and then pick them up from the airport." I continue as if the previous dialogue had never existed.
"Who else is coming?"
"Well, Jade was supposed to meet us there but her parents had other plans with her and Luna said she's going to her cousin' party. So that only leaves Ashley and Bella."
"Guess we're gonna have a lot of hotties around then." He smirks but the expression on his face slowly fades as I answer "I know, right?". Dude, I love doing this.
The drive to the market is short so we arrive there in no time. Quickly getting out of the car I spring towards the shop without waiting for Sam.
The workers eye me suspiciously as I try to find the one and only Absolut Vodka.
"May I help you?"
I turn around in a swift motion only to find Sam innocently staring at me like he didn't scare the shit out of me.
"You idiot! I thought it was one of those bizarre workers! They're looking at me like I'm a drug dealer!" I complain once again as I spot the magic bottle.
"Do you think three bottles are enough?"
"Depends on how drunk you wanna get."
"Hmm... I don't know.. Very?!" I laugh and so does Sam.
"No, but for real now, are those three good?"
"Yeah, plus Cam and Nash don't drink so we each get half a bottle, right?"
