truth or dare?

we arrive at the party after riding in the car for 15 minutes. i park the car and Daniel gets out and rushes to open the door for me.

the smell from the house fills the air. we haven't even stepped into the house yet.

"Nikki!!!" Carolyn rushes over to me. She gives me a gigantic hug.

"Oh hi! i've missed you! how have you been?"

"my dad has started drinking again. he's been out of the house a lot these past few nights. and my mom isn't around much anymore."

"why didn't you call me? you know i would have answered."

"i know."

"alright, let's get you a drink. it looks like you need one."

I follow her inside of the house. Daniel and the rest of the group goes to get a drink from the kitchen.

"i've missed you so much! i've been good. my parents just got divorced but i'm fine."
"i'm sorry to hear that. when did they get divorced?"
"like 3 days ago. my dad moved out yesterday. so now i'm staying at my dads."
"that sucks."
Daniel comes up to us and gives me a drink.
he looks at Carolyn.
"i don't think i've met you before. i'm Daniel."
"Carolyn. you've picked a good one Nikki."
i look at Daniel and smile.
"yea. i guess i have picked a good one." he winks.

a group of Daniel's friends surround him. one of them slaps his back.
"what's up brother?!"
"hey Cole."
"Do y'all wanna play a game?"
"sure." Carolyn says.
"yea. we'll play." i say.

there are about 10 people sitting on couches which are formed into a rectangle. they all have drinks in their hand and some of them are making out. i take a sip of my drink. my throat burns so bad but it tasted good. i take another drink, this one being bigger. Daniel and i find a spot next to each other.

"alright let's play a little game called truth or strip."
what is this game? i've never heard this game before.

"the rules are simple. someone will ask a different person a truth, if they don't answer, the person being asked the question has to take off one article of clothing. or they can do a dare. who wants to go first?"

"i'll go." Carolyn says. she looks like she's had a few drinks.

"Nikki, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"who do you most want to sleep with, out of everyone here?"

i am definitely not answering that. Daniel looks at me weirdly.

"i'm not answering that." everyone yells.
"Strip! Strip! Strip!"

i slowly start to take off my shirt. all of they boys whistle. i'm left in my black lacy bra.
i take another swig of my drink. i glance at Daniel and i see him biting his lip. i wink at him.

"carolyn, truth.. or dare?"
"dare of course."
"alright.. i dare you to kiss the girl on your left."
it happens to be Molly.

she turns towards her and leans in and kisses her. Molly immediately pulls away.

and then everyone falls silent. i watch people turn around to look at something in the kitchen. it's a tall figure, probably male.

wait... hold on..

Chase. why the fuck is he here. our eyes meet and his scan my body and meet up there. he makes his way to the couch with a solo cup in his hand. he looks high and very drunk.

"What the fuck are you doing here Chase?"
"Just came here for the party babe."
"Don't you EVER call be babe again."
i feel my cheeks turn red. i have no idea why.

"i know you still love me. just admit it."
absolutely not. i hate him. after what he did to me..

"can we just go somewhere private?" he says.
i look at Daniel. he looks back and nods.
