Chapter 3 - The News

??? POV

It was just a normal Friday night.

"Yes! I've got a match!" Gemini placed his uno card onto the deck.

"Oh, come on!" Capricorn sulked. "I was going to do that!"

"Yeah but it was my turn, so too bad Capricorn. Now draw you card."

"I don't have any matches now-"

Capricorn was interrupted by the stampede of girls running into the game room.

"Guys!" Cancer shouted, panting heavily. It was obvious that the girls ran a long way over to deliver whatever they wanted to say,

"Wassap my man.. no. I mean girls." The girls stared at him, infuriated at his attempt.

"Finished yet?" Libra asked.

"Wa- yes." Leo sighed.

"Ophiuchus has regained his power. He may be more powerful than we thought." Aries declared.

"Yeah right... good prank, girls" Leo started, but he immediately regretted it when he saw the stern look on Aries' face, contrasting to the distressed look in her eyes. "Oh, you guys are serious."

Tears started forming in Cancer's eyes. Aries noticed and didn't want anymore trouble for tonight, so she told Leo not to say anything useless for the rest of the night. When they finally explained everything, about how Ophiuchus sent the girls a message saying that he was coming back for them, and that he had the weapon, the boys looked as anxious as the girls did.

"What? How? Where did he get it? That's impossible" chimed in Capricorn. He caught Cancer looking at him, tears rolling down her cheek. He winked at her with a sly smirk on his face and she smiled back briefly, before wiping her face with the sleeve of her sweater.

"But what are we going to do? We don't know where he got it, and how he's going to use it!" Sagittarius claimed.

"He didn't tell us where he got it, or where he's hiding right now. He just said he was coming for us." Virgo's eyes welled up in fear, and Pisces stood up to give her a hug.

"This is why I asked where they went! Ophiuchus and Hades must have escaped while we were cleaning. Just because his other servants were spirits and vanished doesn't mean that they are going to give up. You guys didn't hear me when I asked where they went." Scorpio argued angrily. He sighed, then looked disappointedly at Aries, who looked down at her shoes, too guilty to say anything. 

"We need to stop him." Aquarius stood up, a look of dignity sparked in her eyes. Sagittarius blushed at her admiration. "I agree, but how?"

"Okay, as the leader of the last battle, I insist that we all have a good night's sleep and start training tomorrow!" Aries claimed confidently.

"Yeah! Let's do that!" Pisces chimed in.

Cancer yawned, and walked over to Capricorn.

"Thanks for cheering me up, Cap." Cancer said.

Capricorn beamed, and was about to say, "No problem!" However, he noticed that Cancer had fallen asleep beside him instead.

Sorry if this chapter is a little short! I kinda rushed this because it's late and I'm tired but felt like writing anyway so please don't hate me for this. You may be wondering, when are the planets going to come in the story? Well, I can answer that question - the planets will be in the next chapter. Sorry Cancers, since it was supposed to be your POV - I'll work on that after Chapter 4 (it has a different POV). The next chapter will be longer, funnier and more interesting. I will try to upload the chapters as fast as I can. See you in the next chapter!
