I am a cat

I am black and white

I like my hights for when I hunt

I hunt in shadows and meadows

I feed for survival and hiss at my rivals

I purr when calm but vom when stirred

My home is a box on the ground shielded from passers-by

I hide there when I'm scared but prowl if I don't care

I may be small and frail but don't you dare touch my cute little tail

I am tough and mighty but don't come at me too quickly

I shiver and shake on cold winter nights just waiting for someone to give me a bite

All I want is someone to care but I will warn you I'm easy to scare

Shelters I've been told don't like that I'm old

I'm sorry I bit your baby I just wanted them to play with me

Some may be scared of felines but that might be the last time

When you meet me you'll see

Most cats just want love even if your dog comes above
