My alarm clock woke me up the next morning. It was 7:00am when the alarm went off. I have to be at school by 7:45am because school officially starts at 8:00am. I was still really tired from my adventurous weekend. Today was Monday and I didn't miss many days at school unless it was an emergency. Plus I wanted to talk to Ed. I wasn't sure if I should tell him about what happened or not.
I grabbed a quick shower, threw on a black Rolling Stones t-shirt, jeans, and my white converse. I usually didn't wear an outfit like that to school, but today I didn't really want to deal with trying to look my best. I still wore my glasses, but I didn't straighten my hair. I don't know why I didn't want to straighten my hair. I guess I just wanted a different look. Ever since Saturday I've had a new perspective on things. Things have changed. I don't think I'll ever be the same Harry anymore. I still have the same personality, love cats, the Harry Potter series, and Math. But it seems like I've been taking life a little more relaxed and not as tense. I don't know why. Everything has changed.
It was around 7:20 when I got dressed and ready. That didn't take long at all. Then I went downstairs to get something to eat. I had Frosted Flakes yesterday, so I goy Lucky Charms this morning. I saw Dusty and pet him behind his ear, and he replied with a gentle meow. "Good morning Harry!" said mum from behind me. I almost jumped because she startled me. "Morning mum." I replied. "Did you sleep well Harry?" She ask in such kindness. Although I knew what my answer was, I just replied with, "Eh."
A little later Gem woke up and I greeted her. It was about 7:35, so I figured I should probably head to school. Sometimes I rode the bus if I didn't feel like driving, but I decided to drive this morning.
School went well that day. I talked to Ed, but I didn't tell him what had happened. I figured I might want to keep that a secret so people won't think I'm crazy or something. I might not even be a werewolf. I don't know anymore, I'm not sure. So, I shouldn't be making assumptions until I have enough information.
Then Math class came. We were supposed to get a new girl in class today. It was nothing new though, because we always got new people. She was a foreign exchange student from America. Americans wanted to come over her all the time to see what was so exciting about England. To us it was normal because we were used to everything, but since we had an accent, they thought we were different or something. Like we were special. I actually liked their accents better than ours. They liked our accents, and we like theirs. I have always liked girls with American accents, a cute smile, unique personality, good sense of humor, and pretty eyes. I loved blue eyes. That was like my perfect dream girl. None of the girls here were like that. I never have gotten along with any of them. Not all of the girls at my school were snobby, but they didn't like the same things as I did.
Anyways, Ed and I were sitting in Math class, and all of a sudden a girl walked through the door. I assumed that was the new girl. She was beautiful. She had long red hair and blue eyes. I hinted to Ed that she was here and Ed looked towards the door. "WOW." Ed whispered into my ear. "Hey! She's mine." I said in a low tone towards him. I didn't know what I was thinking. She wasn't mine. She might already have a boyfriend. I hope she doesn't, but I don't even know her yet. I would have to get to know her first.
Mr. Nix introduced her to the class. Her name was Lilly-Rose. She got to pick a seat and luckily there was a seat open next to me. As she was looking for a seat I called out, "Over here!" And she sat down beside me. Her blue eyes shined like diamonds or the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas. They looked like pure ice. They were just so beautiful, I couldn't stop staring. She probably thought I was crazy or something.
Minutes later when class was coming to an end, I ask, "Hi beautiful. What's your name?" In a smooth tone. I thought "not bad H, not bad at all". This was one of the first times I was flirting with a girl, but I had seen how movies went. "Hello. I thought you already heard my name when the teacher said it. But it's Lilly. Lilly-Rose." she said with a perfect American accent. I didn't think she could have said it any better. I replied with, "Nice to meet you Lilly, my name's Harold. But you can call me Harry." I said to myself "nice job harry". "Nice to meet you too Harry." God I loved how she said my name. I kept replaying her voice saying my name in my mind. The bell rung and class ended. "Shit, class is over and I don't think she's in my next class!" I said quietly under my breath. I wish I could talk to her more. I told her goodbye and she said goodbye too, and Ed and I went to our next class as we parted with the beautiful Lilly.
