(Author's P.O.V)
Amai bent over, obviously out of breath.
"We're.. here..," she said in between pants. You looked over at her and giggled, as you barely broke a sweat. Amai, after recollecting herself, stood up and looked at you.
"Wow, you should join the sports club if you haven't even taken one deep breath," she stated as you blushed.
"Actually, I've been past two clubs so far that have peeked my interest, and plus, my old school made sure we were all pretty active." Amai nodded her head then stood facing towards your classroom doors.
"Well! Here's your class sweetheart! Now, I've better get to mine before I'm late. See you later (Y/n)!" You nodded to her as she left, taking off down the hall.
You gently pushed the doors to the classroom open, sighing gently when you saw no one. You took a seat at the middle of the class.(Your P.O.V cuz why not)
I scanned my surroundings as students fled in through the doors. A lot of students and their friends chatted, pretty annoying if you ask me. I looked around more until my eyes landed on the same girl I caught glaring at me this morning. She had her chin in her hands as she stared at the front of the classroom. She looked similar to the boy that I caught getting scolded at this morning, but she intrigued me.
The bell rang and my focus immediately landed to the teacher, who stood at the front of the class.
"Good morning students and welcome to another wonderful year at Akademi High!" You couldn't help but roll your eyes at how enthusiastic the teacher sounded. Especially on how fake it sounded.
"Our new year has started us off with a new student! Could you please stand up and introduce yourself?" I sighed gently and stood from my seat.
"Hello.. my name is (L/n) (Y/n) and I'm happy to finally attending Akademi.." I sat down in my seat once I was done and ignored the gazes of the students. Though I couldn't help but blush at one students glare.
I spaced out once the teacher started beginning her lecture. Somehow I managed to get good grades, so I never bothered to pay attention. My focus went out the window, as I could see some trees that caught my Interest somehow.~Time skip brought to you by slendy Yan chan~
Once the bell had rang students flew from their seats and out the door. Seeing as the dull one took her time, I grabbed my stuff quickly and raced over to her.
"Hey! Umm.. sorry, this is kind of awkward. But may I ask what your name is?" She looked up at me, her eyes held a dull and blank expression as they glared into mine.
"Aishi Ayano, and yours is (L/n) (Y/n) right?" A blush quickly made it onto my face as my name slipped beautifully from her lips. I nodded quickly,
"Ya! Th-thats correct, but you can call me (Y/n) if that's alright with you." She gave a simple nod and turned, walking through the classroom doors. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and held a hand to my chest. 'Damn all these cute girls!'
I roamed the halls, looking for Amai or at least Ruto-chan. After roaming for a little longer I gave up and decided to go outside. Amai had mentioned a sports club earlier, and I wouldn't mind joining it.
I walked around the school until I was pushed,
"Watch it! Punk!" I stumbled a little until gaining my balance.
"Well maybe I would 'watch it' if you weren't such a big target!" I yelled out of anger. I could hear a few gasps before I felt another shove.
"You may be new, but don't think I'll go easy on you." Before I could utter another word I felt a strong arm embrace me.
"I suggest you get off our turf dove before my ducklings and I make you." I looked up to see a beautiful woman with golden hair, and brilliant eyes that matched. Her left cheek held a scar in the shape of an X and her eyes burned with fury. My eyebrows furrowed my eyebrows and tried to hold in the blush as I gently pushed her arms away. I looked towards the minion that pushed me and stuck my tongue out at him, then walked away. Behind me I could hear some yelling,
"Wh- Did she really just stick her tongue out at me!? What kind of child-," I walked away before I could hear anymore, but that wouldn't stop me from snickering.
I ended up finding Ruto-chan up on the roof, watching, the 'Basu sisters' as she told me. She told me she believed one of them is a vampire, and the other, a succubus? Strange..
"S-so.. wh-where have you been a-all lunch..?" I tensed up a bit, but relaxed after a second.
"I believe I had an encounter with the delinquents," I said before shoving a piece of sushi in my mouth.
"Wh-what!? (Y/n)! D-dont you know how d-dangerous they a-are!" By now, the Basu sisters were staring at us as well as Midori, and a girl with blue hair.
"C-calm down Oka, I'm fine, I know how to stand up for myself!" Oka's face suddenly flushed. I suddenly panicked, brushing her hair to the side, I felt her forehead with the back of my hand.
"Are you alright Ruto-chan?" Her face paled lightly and she nodded, a sad and disappointed look clouded her eyes.(Oka's P.O.V)
"C-calm down Oka, I'm fine, I know how to stand up for myself!" I felt my face heat up as my name slipped out of her mouth in a panic. She.. had said my name..?
"Are you alright Ruto-chan?" Oh.. that's right.. My heart suddenly stung and I looked down, nodding. Why am I so disappointed? I have a crush on Taro-senpai.. right?(Back to your P.O.V)
The bell had rung after Ruto-chan and I sat for awhile longer. We chatted about what stuff interested us. I couldn't help but chuckle at how fascinated she was about the occult and supernatural. I wanted to ask her if I could call her Oka, noticing how it slipped from my face hole earlier.. well.. I can always ask after school..
