They're Just Teasing Us

When dinner was ready Jay grabbed his plate and went outside. The boys were used to this, Jay prefer ed to eat alone. Violet looked around at the faces sitting at the crowded table. She saw the two teams bonding  and coming together to form one large team. she could see them getting so much done as one big team. Along with Jay being gone Violet noticed one other face missing.

"Where's Sky?" she asked. Ali and Siva looked at each other.

"We havn't seen her since she left the range." Ali said

"Check the roof." Hayven said.

"Why the roof?" Siva asked

"She likes to be perched so she can see everything. The higher up the better." Ali said handing Sky's book to Siva and pushing him to the back door. he went outside and climbed the ladder. he found her crouched near the edge. Leaning back so the curve of the house is holding her weight and she doesn't slip. A sniper rifle and an Ak-47 laid at her feet. her eyes were focused on the tree line.

"Hey Sky. You left before i could give you you're book back." he said sitting beside her.

"most people cant look at me after seeing that book." she said taking the book from him but not looking at him.

"Well im not most people. However i do want to know the story." he said.

"Well that story is one for another time." she stood up. " Jay did you see that?" Siva didn't know Jay was up here too. Jay jumped out of the tree near the house and made a loud thud on the roof. he set his plate down.

"Yeah i saw it." he whipped his mouth. "CIA and FBI."

"Think Aiza sent them?" Sky asked.

"I wouldn't doubt it. she wants us dead."

"How many do you think?"

"50 max" Jay said

"Oh they're just teasing us." Sky said getting on the flat part of the roof. Jay tossed her the sniper rifle. "Siva, go tell the others we've got company and maybe when this is over i'll tell you about him." she said. he nodded and went back down the ladder. When he walked into the house Max smiled at him.

"Did she knock you?"

"No that thud was Jay jumping from the tree to the roof. Sky says we have company."

"What kind of Company?" Violet asked Hayven and Tom. both were typing away on their laptops.

"F.B.I." Hayven said at the same time Tom said "C.I.A."

"Well lets show them some hospitality." max said and the eight of them went outside. Tom sat down on the second step. Max sat down beside him. Siva looked up at the roof. Jay was kneeling beside Sky the two talking. Siva turned back,

"We need you focused Siva." Violet said as she and Siva slipped on their brass knuckles. he nodded.

"Its set up Hayven." Tom says and she nods and leans against the railing of the porch. a little black box in her hand with a button on it. Jay slide off the roof and landed right by Siva.

"Sky says she'll cover us from the roof and i'll take care of the back because they have the house surrounded.

"Jay!" Sky called and Jay turned just in time to see a thick black rod flying at him. he reached up and caught it.

"Is this what i think it is?" Jay asked.

"Be careful with the little lady, it's her first time." Jay smirked and Skys words. he expanded the wings and inspected the weapon. The wing span was about two and a half feet. a six-shooter, automatic reload.

"I think this is going to be my new toy." Jay said and went around back. The men started to fire upon the group but Sky took out the gunners and Siva and Violet charged. Max could hear Jay fighting around back. With in minutes all the men had fallen. Nathan and Jazmine then did their job. going through and making sure they were dead and going through their cloths for valuables. Jazmine stopped when she got to a certain guys wallet. Nathan walked up behind her.

"Whats wrong Jazz?" he asked looking over her shoulder at the picture in her hand.

"this man had a family. look." the picture was of the man a beautiful woman and a set of newborn twin girls. "We've taken someone's father and they'll never know. Those girls will grow up with out a father." she said sliding the picture back into the wallet.

"i know honey. but think about it this way. the government will tell them that their daddy was a hero and died defending the country. they'll grow up knowing that and grow into wonderful women." Nathan kissed Jazmins cheek and took her hand, leading her to the next body.

Sky came down the ladder and Jay walked with her back to the other side of the house. "How many?" she asked him.

"21. you?"

"i lost count after i almost hit Siva... Are you going to put 21 new scars on your body?"

No, just maybe a 'X'. I'f never done a killing on this scale."

"Neither have i." Sky said. When they got around to the other side Ali and Siva walked up to them. Siva wrapped his arms around Sky.

"I'll look past the fact you almost killed me." Siva said and kissed her forehead. Sky leaned into his embrace. "You owe me a story missy." he said and she nodded. Ali hugged Jay. Jay looked over Ali's head at Siva. "Thats called a hug. It's a sign of affection." Siva smiled as Jay flipped him off and then wrapped his arms around Ali.
