Each and Every Muslim, male or female is obliged to offer salat (prayer) regularly five times at their specified times, males in the mosque in congregation and as for the females, its better for them to offer prayer at their homes.
The Prophet PBUH said
Order your children for salat (prayer) at the age of seven, and beat them (about it) at the age of ten.
