The Bandit and the Noble: Ishimondo Fantasy AU

🔖 Chapter 2: Kidnapped?! 🔖

KIYOTAKA POV:

I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru, I am a Nobleman who lives with my grandfather, Toranoske Ishimaru, the head of the city of Merryland's military. And currently, my father is spending time in war with other cities. However, I never expected the wildest thing to ever happen to me...

It was nighttime, more specifically 9:15 PM. I was laying awake in my bed, when all of a sudden I hear faint murmuring. I tried to ignore it, but it was no use, my curiosity got the better of me. I got out of bed to see where the whispers were coming from, I walked over to my bedroom window and opened it. 

To my surprise, when I looked down out of the window I saw three hooded figures. One appeared to be asleep, and the other two were silently talking. I immediately panicked and tried not to make a sound, along with that, I started to hear parts of their conversation, "You promised we would stay in an inn tonight!" Said the shorter figure, "I'm sick of sleeping on the ground." The taller, more muscular figure sighed, "Sorry, I thought we would be out of the city by nighttime, and eventually find an inn." I felt the curiosity get to me as I got back up to see the figures in more detail. 

The taller figure appears to be muscular, they also seem to have a pompadour hairstyle. However the other shorter figure seems to have a crossbow in a brown bag, and red hair. The other who seems to be asleep has a magic staff next to them, a brown coat, and a green scarf. Then, at the worst time, I sneezed. The two figures who were awake looked up to see me. The tall one had light purple eyes, and the shorter one had blue eyes and a goatee. 

I felt the adrenaline rush as I ran over to my wardrobe, scared that they would hurt me. I opened the door of the wardrobe and closed in with myself inside. Whenever I feel lost, scared, or confused, I usually begin to cry. I tried to stop myself but I couldn't. 

MONDO POV:

Instead of leaving the city of Merryland, we ended up having to sleep on the ground for the night, much to Leon's dismay. We found a patch of grass next to a house to sleep on. Of course Chihiro fell asleep first, and me and Leon began talking. When we heard a sound from right above us.

"Mondo! What are you doing?!" Leon whisper-yelled, as I was attempting to climb up to the person I saw in the window. No hesitations. When I had finally reached the windowsill, I hopped inside the room. No one in sight. I walked over to the neatly folded bed, and made sure no one was under it. I felt my eyes gaze over at the wardrobe. The curiosity came tome, and I made my way to open the wardrobe door. 

My hand gripped onto the handle, I sighed. I opened the door. Inside, I saw a black-haired boy, around my age, hiding inside. "Gah! S-stay back!!" He exclaimed in fear. "Who are you?" I asked kneeling down to stare him directly in the eyes. "I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru. My grandfather works as head of the military..." He said like I was interrogating him. Not knowing what to do, I picked up the nobleman up over my shoulders. "H-hey! Put me down!" He said nervously. At that point I had no idea what I was doing. 

I hopped out the window and landed on the ground, next to Leon. "What the hell Mondo?!" Leon exclaimed as soon as he saw the boy. "Do you know how much trouble this could cause us? Not to mention-" I cut Leon off by yelling the words, "Shut up!" Leon sighed, "I'm guessing we should start leaving right?" I nodded, "Yes. How about you wake up Chihiro." I directed my eyes to the small, sleeping boy. 

Soon enough, we were on the road. "Who even are you guys?" Kiyotaka said, still being carried by me. "You could just say we're the Crazy Diamonds." I say. 

A new journey was bound to begin, with our new "friend" Kiyotaka.
