New begginings (Naruto fanfic)

chapter 24

 
~Kira~

         Pain. A searing pain so bad I felt as if I was standing in the middle of a roaring fire with a thousand knives sticking out of my back. I heard a groan coming from my left. Wait I know that groan. Suddenly it all came back to me. Naruto! Sasuke! I fought my way into consiusness needing to make sure they were alright. I opened my eyes blearliy to see Sakura standing over me with a bowl of water and rags in her hand.

        "Hey Sakura, hows it going?" I asked. She put down the bowl and rags and came and hugged me. I turned to the others my brows creased with worry. Why arn't they up yeet.?

        "How are you up Kira, will the others wake up soon?"  Sakura asked hurridly. I turned walked over to Naruto checking out his head and stomache. My eyebrows creased together. His nine-tails should be healing this concussion quiker than this. "Sakura how long since we were knocked out, and another thing how did you get us all here?"

       "We've been here about fur hours and to your second question Gaara helped by carrying you and the cat dude carried Naruto." I blushed at this but mentally slapped myself. Now is not the time to be thinking about Gaara ,Kira I thought. I saw Sakura grinning and groaned. "I sent you that didn't I?" she nodded. I groaned again and turned back to Naruto now completley worried. According to my caculations with the nine-tails healing abilitys he should have woke up about two hours ago.

       "And Naruto hasn't woke up at all?" I asked worridley. She shoook her head. "With the nine-tails healing ability's he should have woken up about two hours ago and completley healed 30 minuets ago even with a concussion this bad it shouldn't be taking tthis long." I said. I unzipped his shirt/jacket thing and looked at his stomache.

       "Whats wrong kira?" Sakura asked wearliy. I looked up at her with a confused look.

       "Nothing absolutly nothing." Sakura smiled at this but I frowned. When she noticed I wasn't happy about that she gave my a confused look. "There should be a bruise, a hit that hard it's not possible, the nine-tails only heals when nessacery or in control of the body so it wouldn't heal this without healing the concussion, he got hit as hard or harder than me it just doesn't make sence." I lifted my shirt to see that sure enough I didn't have a bruise either. I sighed and did basic first aid medical nin-jutsu on his concussion and moved to Sasuke. I checked over his cursed mark to make sure nothing out of the ordinary was happiningt to him and then loooked over his body. I sighed in relief. "Just a couple of bruises and a seriously depleated chakra, but he should be fine in a few hours."

        "What about those bites he gave you?" Sakura questiond. I looked at her in 'confusion'. "The ones from Orchimaru?" I growled at the mention of his name my eys turning more red than they had ever been. I took a deep breath my eyes turning blueish gray and replied.

       "Sakura what are you talking about me and Sasuke never got bitten. It sounds like your talking about his aleged 'Cursed Marks' but he hasn't givin that to anybody in the leaf for years. You were probably under a gen-jutsu." I replied easily. I froze still as ice and turned around to face the new chakra. I felt a sharp pain in my neck but just winced. I couldn't show weakness right now.

       "Hehe up all night?" I heard a female voice say from the trees. I smiled sweetly

       "No actually I just woke up about an hour ago how about you three." I asked sweetly my eyes blood red.

      "AH so your the one with the intresting eyes my leader talked so highly about." Said a male voice coming from two trees over from her.

      "Ah so your Orchimarus goonies that I never wanted to meet, are you gonna try and keep me from eatoing my oreos to?" I asked curiosly. They just smirked.
 
      "Nope we just wanna fight the kid with the cursed mark." The third said. Right after he finished speakingI winced. THe pain in my neck excrusheating (Sp?) I screamed out holding my hand to my neck my hair pushed enough to the side for them to see I had gotten one to. Once the pain was gone I got shakiley to my feet taking deep breaths. @#$% I told Sakura we didn't have any. I turned to her.

     "OK I lied we do have the curse marks." I smiled innocently at her. I turned back to the sound ninja with my best smirk on my face. "You wanna fight the kid with the cursed mark then come on fight me." I said challengingly. One thing I've noticed over the past few weeks is that my shadow possesion jutsu isn't the same as Shikamarus.Mine uses the shadow the Wind cast that nobaody can see so I don't have the same limitations. Before they  could do anything I made the nessisery hand signs and focused my chakra. "Wind shadow posession jutsu" I cried instantly trapping them. THats great right? There's just one tinsy wensy little problem. My chakra was already used up. Just as thought went threw my mind I felt a pain ten times worse then the last one I screamed out barley keeping hold on the jutsu. I felt the curse mark spreading over my skin but I quickly forced it back. I would not give into his game. My breathing was coming out shallow and choppy when I heard Lee com at the enemy with the very familier spinning leaf wind.  smiled at him letting go of the jutsu and fell into the comferting blackness.


      When I could finally open my eyes again the first thing that I noticed was that Sasukes cursed mark was acctivated and he was breaking the sound ninjas arms. By time I had gotten over there it was to late and a sickining snap resouned through the air. I grabbed a leaf from my pouch that I knew would make the cursed mark retreat, grabbed Sasuke around the neck  and pinched his nose shut. Finally he had to open hi mouth and I stuffed the leaf into his mouth making him chew and swallow. "Don't play his games Sasuke, don't let him control you." I whispered to him letting him go. I slowly let go of him letting him stand on his own. I picked up Sakura's head band and brought it over to her. "You deserve this Sakura, you finally stood up for yourself and protected those close to you." I said looking around towards Naruto and Sasuke. She hugged me tightly.

      "It felt right to protect my team and those close to mae. You , Sasuke amd Naruto are my closest friends. Yes even you." I smiled at her warmly before ino went to fix her hair. I went back over to Sasuke.

     "SO how was your nap Uchiha?" I asked. He shrugged. "It was painful yours?" I turned towards him looking at him face on. " 'Bout the same but atleast woke up long enough to help Naruto a little bit and then check over you. I was up for like an hour before they came, then I had to use the last of my chakra to fight them and keep the curse mark back before I passed out from the pain again." He rolled his eyes at that. I sighed and turned to Naruto. " He should be healed by now it was just a concussion." I said worried. He took my hand like any best friend would and squeezed.

     "He'll be Ok. He's probably already woke up and then decided to go back to sleep." I snorted at how true that could have been.

~Time skip~

        "WElcome to the third round there has been a slight change. Given that there are so many of we will be havin g a pilamanary round to see who goes on to the actual third round." Th e coughing person said. I will tell you what I heard in his next few sentences. Blah, blah, blha, Yada yada yad Chunin exams, Blah yada blah  rainbow penguins in Paris and something about ramen. I saw Kabuto walk out of the building he must of quite.

        "Sasuke, Kira  you guys should quit to I mean- "Sakura started but I cut her off.

        "No Sakurs, I won't quit no matter what I promised Konohamaru that me and Naruto would win this thing and we will." I said firmly. She tried to object but I just shook my head.

       "Kiras right this isn't about becoming a chunnin this is to awnser the question I've been asking to see if I am truley strong" He rambled on and only zoned back in when he stopped rambling and turned to me and Naruto. "You two are the ones Iwant to fight most."

~Time skip~

         Finally it was my turn there was only me and this one other chick left. Uzamaki Kira vs Teshemoto Misui. I jumped down across from her landing gracefully on my feet making sure to stumble slightly to trick her into thinking I'm nothing. I made a scared face making her smirk. Idiot does she really think she can take me on? I sent to the others. Act like your not paying attion to me it will make me seem even more weak trust me. They all turned away from me laughing about what I was doing . I made tears well up in my eyes making her smirk grow even bigger. I looked up to see Kakashi holding back a laugh reliazing what I was doing. "Let the final battle begain"

         She pulled 3 kunais out and  threw them quickly. I dodged them easily and sped behind her. I punched her in the back making her shoot shoot foward. She did a graceful flip land back down on her feet.

        "I guess you got a little more skill than I thought eh kid." She said mockingly. I just smiled sweetly before disappearing to human eye and reappearing behind her. "Maybe just alittle." I replyed. I don't see anyreason to take ofrf my training whieghts with this one. Yup I wear training wheights. My old sensie reccomended it. I quickly made 20 shadow clones coming at her from all sides lets  just say she is gonna be black and blue for awhile. I walked around so even when I;m talking to that dude whos running it (still don't know his name) I can't watch her you never know Iopened my mouth to say something but I felt her chakra build up dangoursley I was on the other side of the arena befor you could say 'A' . "Hehe xso you sensed my jutsu huh?" She said in a babyish voice. "Thats really to bad its my favorit jutsu won't you let me use it on you?" I saw gold dust start to fall and quickly realized what she was doing.

        "Kia, Release." I said. She glared at me. I matched her old tone." Ah did your favorite jutsu fail thats just to bad." I said then quickley jumped up and landed in front of her. "Wind shadow possesion jutsu." I cried feeling the winds unseen wind connect us. She smirked.

        "Looks like your jutsu dosen't work either." She said truimphly. I guess she tried to move because her eyebrows furrowed in anger. "But how I can't see the shadows!"

        "Did you not hear the name of the jutsu? Wind shadow jutsu it uses the winds unseen shadow creating an infinit amount of shadow." I said. She growled in anger.I raised my hand making her do the same. "Now are you going to say it or am I going to have to use my amazing Tai jutsu skills on you." I asked. She growled again.

       "I give up" She said angerliy. I quickley jumped up landind doing a hand stand on the rail befor eflipping and landing on Kakashis back squeezing him tightly.

       "What did you think Ni-san?" I asked. He smiled up at me through his mask.

       "You didn't use your brain did you?" He asked. I smiled shaking my head proudly. "Or your true speed?" "Come on Ni-san I didn't use my full speed with my training whieghts on." I said duh'ingly and smiled jumping off his back giving all my teamates back to my surprise Sasuke even hugged my back. I then jumped over to Gaara and his siblings jumping on Gaaras back.

       "You know Lee is one of my friends to and you just ruined his dreams so I'ma gonna be kinda mad at you for awhile but I know he went hard on you to" I said. He nodded taking me off his back and giving me a real hug.

       "Good job Kira." He muttered into my ear and for some reason I think there's a second meaning to those words.

   

        Thank god I don't blush.
