chapter ten: one new problem

Y/n pov

"Y/n we have a problem!" Ivy yelled "chill out!" I yelled "is something wrong?" Ciel asked "it's nothing." I said "I'll just be out back if you need me." I said walking outside.

Ciel pov
"I wonder what that's all about." Alois said walking downstairs. "What were you doing up there?" I ask "I don't have to answer to you phantomhive!" Alois snapped at me. I don't have time for this. "Have you at least done your work for once in your life?" I ask he just ignores me. "So what the hell is wrong with y/n?" He asked

"we don't know she just got a call from that Ivy girl than yelled and left." Grell said standing up. "Sebastian I want you to make sure that nothing happens to y/n for the time being." I said "yes my lord." I was about to go up to my room until "might I ask why all of a sudden you want to protect her?" That annoying butler "I don't want her awakening to be affected by anything or anyone. Like I said before I don't intend on staying any longer than I have to."

Y/n pov
"So what's the problem did your favorite ship sink again? Look I know that stom took a toll on you bu-" "this is not about shipping and we do not bring that up!" Ivy said interrupting me. "Well than what is it?" I ask getting impatient "so mia Evergold is apparently gonna make you pay." I roll my eyes "and how exactly is she going to do That?" I ask unamused by this whole situation. "I don't know but I think you should try and get help from someone if things go wrong." I laugh at what Ivy said. "I'm being serious I did some digging and apparently a the last girl who messed with her mysteriously ended up in the hospital and changed schools." I claim down from laughing "claim down for all you know that could've been a rumor." I said "well if that's all then see you tomorrow." I hang up

At Jack's house

"I can't believe she gave him my number." Jack said staring at his phone wondering how to respond to the text on his screen.

Entering text chat

James: hey this it's James

James: you still there?

Jack: hey

Jack: I have something to ask you

James: what is it

Jack: why did you ask for my number?

James: tbh I did it because I was bored

Jack: that's it

James: yep and I need some new. friends my other friends left me

James: they did have a good reason tho

Jack: dude I got something tell you

Jack: she didn't give you her number this is her friend Jack

Jack: but if I give you her number and explain why you asked for I bet she'd give it a shot

James: oh sure thanks

Jack: her number is (insert number)

Exit chat

Jack let out a sigh. "That easier than I thought." He said throwing himself on the bed. "Jack mom said to come down for dinner!" Jack stood up and yelled "I'm coming!"

James house

"Hey sweetie whatcha doing?" Mia asked sitting on his lap. "So you remember that girl?" James asked "you mean the that bitch that was flirting with you." She said in a bitter tone. James awkwardly laughed. "Yeah her well anyway she gave me her friend's number instead." Mia looked up in disbelief. "I can't believe she did that if I were her I would be begging to get your number!" Mia stood up with her hand on her hips. "Calm down and besides it's her friend gave me her number so-" mia snatched James phone from him. "That's great I'll put her in her place." She smiled like one of those villains who came up with a plan. "Babe you're not gonna do anything bad are you?" James said walking up toward her. "Of course not sweetie I'm just gonna have a talk with her." Mia said tossing the phone back to James "see you tomorrow sweetie!"

Mia's pov
This will teach her not to mess with me or my boyfriend.

Y/n house

Everyone is seated and ready for dinner. "What was that phone call about?" Alois asked "oh it was nothing important." Y/n said than took a sip of water. "It seemed like it was for you to go out and talk." Ciel Said "what's wong with have privacy?" Y/n asked getting defensive. "Of course not miss y/n." Sebastian said putting a plate of food in front of her. "We were just wondering why you were yelling on the phone."

"It's nothing really guys." Y/n said picking at her food. "Alright we'll leave it alone." Ciel said
