S O F I A

"Sofia, you should wait for backup."

I clench my teeth annoyed, "fuck off." I take the Bluetooth earpiece out of my ear and drop it in a random drink on the bar's table. My hips sashayed as I smoothly floated on the dance floor. I could feel the eyes following my body.

Now where is he? Adrik Ivanov

Before I could turn my body, another one crashed into me, almost knocking me to the ground.

"Hey, watch it," I snap, freezing when I meet the eyes of the one man I've been looking for. He smiles charmingly, his Russian features standing out.

"I'm sorry sweetie, I didn't mean to distress such a beautiful lady," he steadies me before offering his hand in a dance. Holding in my swoon, I get back to the mission and take his hand. He swiftly turns me so my back is to his front. His hands grip my hips nice and slowly.

His body pressed against mine, and I will admit, it felt nice.

I quickly shake the thoughts out of my head before I begin to grind my hips against his front, his arousal pressing against my ass. I felt his head lower into my neck where he began to grind back. The sound was fast and upbeat, everyone around us was jumping around erratically while we slowly swayed to the beat.

"What's your name sweetheart," his Russian accent was thick. I held back a shiver and remembered my cover.

"Celest, and you?" he chuckles against my neck as if he knows something that I don't. Doubts cloud my mind. Does he know?

"Adrik."

The sound of his name rolling off his tongue sounded so smooth. I need to get this mission done so I can go home.

I turn around, offering him a flirty smile.

"How about we get a drink?"

He ranks his eyes down my body before he leads me to the bar. A woman, dark hair and dark eyes, was cleaning a glass before she saw us.

"What can I get for ya?" A deep, southern accent bellowed over the music.

"I would like a Moscow Mule, what would you like?" Adrik turned to me, raising his eyebrow.

"I'd like a Whiskey Sour please," I smile gently. She gets working, fixing our drinks. In no time, she hands us our drinks and gets started on another customer.

We told her thank you and Adrik grabbed my hand and led me towards stairs. I made a checklist of all the weapons hiding beneath my clothes and followed him willingly to the unknown room. We come up to a white door and we enter, it looks just like an old cleaning supplies closet. Before I could even shut the door behind me, Adrik pounced on me and shoved me up against the door. His lips met mine in a hungry desire, his hands went to my hair.

I eagerly return the kiss, running my hands down his back. He kissed me hard and aggressive, I could barely keep up. For a moment, I got caught up in the moment, allowing him to lift my leg up against his hip. His hips grounded into mine deep and slow, his jeans rubbing against my core. Pants fell out of my mouth.

His mouth moved lower, trailing down my neck where he began to suck hard.

"Adrik," his name fell out of my mouth in a moan.

His hand wrapped around my neck harshly and his hand slipped in between my legs.

"Yes Sofia?" I froze. His hand never stopped, his fingers brushing against my clit.

"What? You really think I didn't know? You're the talk of the underground. With your beautiful looks," he licked his lips sensually, "your deadly hands," his fingers trail my panties.

I try thinking of a response, or at least how to grab my gun from the back of my pants. As if he read my thoughts, he stopped his assault on my core and reached behind my body, all while keeping his grip on my throat tight.

"Ah, ah, ah, you aren't going to need this," he chuckles, tossing the gun behind him carelessly.

"Now, you're gonna sit here like a good girl, and listen to me," his expression turned dark. A sliver of fear raked down my spine.

"I know you work for Dimitri, and trust me baby girl, that pisses me off that he thinks he can just send a precious angel like you to take me out," he tightens his grip and I lose all the air in my chest. My hands shoot up and claw at his wrist. He makes no sign of pain but continues his rant.

"Now, I have an offer for you," he releases my neck and backs up from me. I gasp out air, clinging to my chest.

"What makes you think I want to hear anything you are going to say," I spit while still coughing on the air rushing to my lungs. He smiles, pulling a hand grenade out of his pants and waving it around as if it wasn't a deadly weapon that could go off at anytime.

"Why don't we play a game?" Before I could respond he pulls the clip from the explosive and tosses it towards me. I fumble to catch it and quickly grip it and stopping the time ticking down.

With my heart beating out of my chest, I stare at him warily.

"Whats the point in this?" He just smiles and pulls out another one. Doing the same as he did before, he tosses it towards me. In an attempt to catch the grenade, I toss the other one towards him.

"ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY?" I scream, once again stopping the ticking.

"Join my mafia," he states, all seriousness in his eyes. In surprise, I drop the grenade and it begins to roll towards Adrik. He grins and tosses his towards me and picks up the one on the ground.

"Are you trying to get us killed?!"

"Say yes." I shake my head, refusing his offer.

"I would never do that to Dimitri," I grit my teeth at the mention of his name.

Adrik scowls, releasing his finger of the lever keeping the grenade from blowing up. My eyes widen.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He just stares hardly at me.

"Say yes."

"NO ADRIK," he continues to just stare at me at the seconds tick by.

"Say yes." He doesn't let up, not looking like he's bluffing.

"ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY," I repeat my question from before, "if I say I'll think about it, will you stop the fucking grenade?" I rush out. His face relaxes and he grabs the grenade lever. I pinch my nose in annoyance. This man is absolutely nuts.

"You have 2 months to decide, until you do, we will be meeting pretty often." He tosses a phone towards me. I manage to catch it with one hand and keep the grenade disengaged in the other.

"When I call, you answer." Was all he said before he tosses the grenade out the window and exiting the room.
