Author’s POV
Upon hearing a word from Jihyo, Jeongyeon immediately asked for the guys’ presence to meet them. They just decided to meet at Jeongyeon’s dad’s restaurant since they considered the place as one of their most memorable one because it is where they first met.
“It’s been a while since we’ve been here.” Hooseok started the conversation.
Everyone nodded and agreed. “well, if it wasn’t for Jeongyeon, we would not gather here again. Thanks for calling us Jeong.” Namjoon added giving her his cute smile exposing his adorable dimples.
“What is the important thing you wanted to tell us noona? You said you wanted to talk to us because you have something to tell us.” Jungkook asked.
Actually, none of them already know about Jeongyeon’s pregnancy. It is only Jihyo whom the doctor informed about it thinking that Jihyo is related to her and is considered as a part of her family.
Jeongyeon took a deep breath before she started to talk. “First, I wanted to thank all of you for taking care of me.” she gave them a beautiful smile.
“Especially to you, Hooseok Oppa and Taehyung.” she then landed her eyes to the two boys who are also smiling brightly to her. “If it’s not because of you two, I am already dead by now.”
“Huh? Why?” Jungkook interrupted.
“The moment I passed out in Jimin’s wake, I am in a midst of dying. Honestly, I was planning to kill myself by not eating and resting until Jimin’s interment.”
All of the boys are in awe. Hearing those things from Jeongyeon made them worry and scared for her at the same time.
“Why would you do that? You still have us Jeong.” Teahyung said holding her hands and squeeze it gently. Jeongyeon just gave her a smile and remove her hands from his grip to tap his shoulder.
“I am not with my sense at all. I am too broken and in deep pain for Jimin’s death. I love him so much to the point that I wanted to follow him. But the moment I opened my eyes at the hospital…” she paused for a while and touch her belly. “I realized that I should not be so selfish anymore. I found out that I am carrying his child for 10 weeks now.”
Their eyes widen because of the sudden news came from Jeongyeon. It’s unexpected the fact that, it is only days after Jimin’s internment.
“Wow, Jeongyeon-ah… I am so happy for you.” Suga said.
“I never thought that Jimin is really a good shooter.” Jin teasingly speak that was cut by Jungkook.
“Yah! Hyung… you’re making her blush.” Jungkook said. Jeongyeon is now blushing because of what did Jin said to her.
“I am happy for you Jeongyeon. Jimin may be gone now but he has left you a gift that you will be treasuring forever.” Teahyung sofly exclaimed.
“Too sad he didn’t have the chance to see his kid grow. Or even meet him in person.” Jeongyeon replied. She is smiling outside but she cannot hide the pain within her.
Hooseok who is sitting beside her rub her back and comfort her. “It’s okay Jeong… I am sure, wherever Jimin is now, he is so happy too.”
Jeongyeon nodded and smile. She doesn’t want to look weak in front of them because they have seen enough so she is trying her very best to be strong and control her emotions for whatever words may come from their mouths.
