"bye" he waved to me and his parents as he disappeared into the crowd at the airport.

I was thinking about him all my way home in the cab, I just didn't feel nice about it, had an empty feeling, but I thought to myself, Jimin's off to SNU, what am I doing in my life, and just then an idea struck my head.

I reached home and went straight to my room, and I looked up for all the gaming tournaments taking place in the country, and I was just just in luck that there is one national tournament open for this month in Daejeon, now all I needed was permission from my parents. I should probably talk to them during dinner, yess thats the best time to convince them.

At dinner,

I helped omma with the stew soup that she was making, they were casually talking about things at office and home while we were eating when I brought up the topic,

"omma, oppa, I have finished my school now" I said biting my lips and thought to myself, this has to seem convincing tae come on.

"yes you have, what do u plan further son?", my dad asked.

"I..uhm, actually want to join a gaming tournament which is gonna be held in Daejeon this month, and before you say no, please understand that this is important to me" I said without making any eye contact.

"you what.." my mom said gaping at me.

"okay you can go" said my dad casually, I was thrilled at his reply!!

me and my mom were both amused at my dad's response to this, we looked at him for further explanation, he continued, "yes I won't stop you from going if this is important to you, but at one condition"

"YES YES!! anything!!" I agreed in excitement.

He placed his spoon on the table and continued, "I want you to take up your college there. If you want to have fun, and join this gaming tour then you will also have to do your college along. Did I make myself clear enough?!"

My excitement went down in a swap. what do I say now, I mean I do want to join this tournament, but a college there?? away from my parents?? what do I say now..

...

...

"okay oppa, if this is your one condition, then fine, I'll apply at some college tonight itself."

Within the next few days I got selected into daejeon graphic designer college, and when I told my parents about it, they seemed kind of satisfied, the very next day I packed my stuff to  move out, I'll be living in a dorm, and I'll have a roomate, I have never been with someone in a room for more than 12 hours except for Jimin.

A day after I got selected,

"okayy momzie, I will eat on time, I will keep you updated every day, and I'll text you when I reach there, anything else??"

"take care of yourself" said mom, "and don't get into any trouble" my dad added.
"yesss relax you guys, bye". I waved at them and boarded my flight.

This already feels good but weird, its funny how after school everyone goes their separate ways. I thought of texting jimin and telling him about this. 'jiminshii?? guess what? I am going to daejeon for a gaming tournament and also college, Imy'

..and the flight took off as I watched my small little town glowing at night with its bright street lights.
