No One's POV
As Alondra got ready for the 'Mikaelson Ball' she grew very nervous; after all, she was mates with the most dangerous family. But with the threat they were going to receive she also wondered if they would leave her.
"What are you thinking about?" Alondra snapped out of her thoughts and looked to the door to see her father.
"Nothing," She answered, turning around to do her makeup.
"Alondra," Her father said.
"What if I'm not good enough?" She questioned making the werewolf look at his daughter taken back.
"Now, why would you think that, kiddo?" He asked.
"I'm just me." she plainly stated. "They have been alive for a thousand of years and I was born seventeen years ago, there's nothing interesting about me."
"Alondra Kaylee Barnes, don't you ever say that. Sweetheart, you are one of a kind, you are the first ever tribrid to ever exist, but not only that you are kind, funny, sassy, and very lovable." Her dad began to say, making Alondra smile softly. "And if they can't handle being with someone as amazing as you they can shove it."
"Gracias papi" (thanks dad), Andrew hugged his daughter "You're welcome, kiddo. Now finish getting ready, you are going to a ball."
Alondra looked at herself in the mirror before smiling at her reflection.
"I can do this."
When the tribrid arrived at the ball she had a weird feeling in her stomach like something was going to happen making her nerves come back.
"Welcome."
She smiled at the person by the door as he opened the door for her, smoothing her dress and walking inside, hoping to see one of her mates.
What she didn't expect was to find them dancing, but what hurt her was the way Klaus, her mate, was looking at the blonde girl from the Grill.
"Aren't they cute?" A voice said to Alondra. "He really likes her."
Alondra smiled sarcastically at her, "Yeah, they are adorable."
"He also gave her that dress and bracelet," the woman said before excusing herself as Alondra looked at the scene heartbroken.
