Alastor's P.O.V

I teleported to the wall where the seeming entrance should be. There was one problem. It had no directions on how to make it appear.

I thought for a moment, then I began pressing each brick to see if anything would happen.

"Good luck on that Al! This isn't diagon alley." Alastor jumped and turned around. Charlie was standing right behind him.

"Why dear, you scared the jambalaya out of ol' Al." He stuttered. "Oh, I didn't mean to scare you." Charlie replied quickly.

"Oh it's quite fine dearie. Now, what is this all about?" He handed her the book on the page showing the secret staircase.

"Well it is what it seems partner. A new add-on this hotel." Charlie said with a smug look on her face. "You can try to look for the way to get in but you'll never find it!" She smirked and turned the other way.

Alastor turned back to the wall then looked at a new added painting to the wall. "Hm, well dearie this one is new.

Charlie's face went blank. "No, no no no no no." Alastor tilted it to the side, which seemed quite hard to do. As he turned it, the staircase was revealed.

The deer demon turned his head to smile at the dumbfounded princess.
"Oh well, I have just quite found it!" He was about to take his first step when Charlie pulled him back.

"You don't even know what's down there. It could be double hell for all you know!" Charlie said, hoping to keep her curious friend from finding out more.

Alastor laughed. "It is a library, isn't it?" Charlie slowly looked at him. "H-how? I don't get it." Alastor shrugged and began his treck down the stairs. Charlie followed close behind him.

As they were going down the long spiral staircase, there was a loud metal creak. Charlie jumped and held on to Alastor's arm tightly.

The two looked at eachother with embarrassment and Charlie awkwardly laughed. Charlie still held onto his arm because the sounds were still around.

"Dear, are you alright?" Alastor said with a worried tone in his voice. Charlie nodded her head. "Yep! Just a little dark down here I guess." She shrugged while chuckling a little bit.

As they reached the bottom of the staircase, a door in front of them was pushed open by Alastors shadows. "Thank you, swell friends!" He said. The looked at him, nodded, and dissapeared.

Alastor walked into the dim, candle lit room with Charlie at his side, only because she was scared of course.
