For generations, the Avatar served as a convoy for peace and balance. After the passing of Avatar Aang, the last Air Nomad, Avatar Korra, of the Southern Water tribe, continued the Avatar legacy. She faced many a foe, all challenging her in unique and personal ways. After her battle with the Evil Spirit Batu during Harmonic convergence, Avatar Korra left the portal between the human and spirit worlds open. This lead to spirits entering our world and some non benders developing airbending. Once Avatar Korra finished restoring balance to our world for the fourth time after Kuvira the Great Unitor threatened to destroy Republic City, she disappeared into the spirit world. Never to be seen again. Many believe she died and the Avatar cycle was broken. Some believe she is still living happily in the spirit world with her beloved. While others think she has abandoned us, for two hundred years have passed, and the world has once again, fallen into chaos. But I believe, I am the artisan the world needs, to be molded back into its rightful place.
