It's been five whole years since Sero had adopted Hiroto and naturally Hiroto didn't stay tiny for long.
Hiroto was chasing around Captain and Commander on the floor. The dogs were now 24 to 27 inches. Which was a surprise to Sero since he thought rottweilers were supposed to be big dogs or bigger than 24 inches.
Hiroto not only changed in size. He now had black horns. (Which to Sero's dismay Hiroto enjoyed sticking marshmallows on the ends.) He also had a shiny green tail where bits of it that just like the other green marks along (not including his scars) glowed. It was one of the reasons Sero hasn't had a good night sleep in five years.
In a way it made Sero kinda sad to see Hiroto grow up so fast. He defiantly wasn't the tiny baby he used to be.
The apartment was now empty. Sero was given orders to move back to Japan. He was quite thrilled to show Hiroto to his parents. But he was quite worried to show him to his friends kids. They might see him as some exotic alien from a different planet. However Hiroto was super excited to be going to a new country and start school with kids of Sero's friends.
"Hey kiddo let's get going kay?" Sero said getting off the bare floor. He had devolped a british accent of his own. Most likely from being in England for five and a half years.
Hiroto jumped up then immediately tripped on his tail and fell on his face. "Kid you okay?" Serp said worried. He jumped back and did the Sidon pose (from Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild google it.) "Yup I'm a okay!" He said happily.
Sero laughed. "That's good." Sero whistled and Captain and Commander ran over to their kennels. "Kay sea pancake we gotta get going to the airport." Hiroto helped Sero close up the dogs kennels.
It wasn't that long of a drive to the airport. What really took long was baggage check and actually waiting for the plane. In total that took about three hours. Also Hiroto was getting sleepy and kinda cranky which was natural for a little kid.
When they finally got on the plane it was 12:30 in the night. "Dad." Hiroto said rubbing his eyes. "Yeah bud?" Sero buckled him in and handed him is favourite plushie. (It's a shark name Fang.) Hiroto cuddled Fang and yawned. "I'm sleepy." "Kay then try to go to bed." He nodded and in a few minutes he blacked out.
Sero sighed. This flight was going to be eleven hours and he knew Hiroto wasn't going to like it. Neither would the dogs.
They finally landed at Japan. Sero was holding Hiroto who was sort of asleep and sort of not asleep. "Hanta!!" Sero turned his head to the left it was his parents running towards him. His mother ran into him and gave him a hug. "Hanta baby it's been so long I thought I'd never see you again." Sero's father walked up to them and ruffled Sero's hair. "Hey kiddo what have you got there?" He was gesturing to Hiroto. "Ah this is the kid I adopted over in England five years back." His mother gasped. "You didn't tell us you adopted!" She said in shock. "Huh you're not surprised he has British accent?" His father said. "We both knew he'd bring something home." "We also have puppies." Hiroto said quietly. Sero's parents both looked at the child. They must've thought he was much younger than he was.
An hour or two passed. Sero's mother was watching Hiroto in the car while he and his father got the dogs and their suitcases. Sero finally got to see the cherry blossoms which he missed for five years. "I'm sure am glad to be back." He finally said to himself.
