"JUST GET THE FUCK OUT RANDY" I screamed at my abusive soon to be ex boyfriend as he lunged at me. "Your mine you dumb bitch" He growled at me as I screamed again. I heard a loud knocking on the door. Randy covered my mouth with his hand as I attempted to scream once again for help. I managed to grab his hand and flip him over my back pinning him to the ground. "Is everything alright over here?" A deep voice came from the other side of the door. "Everyrhings fine" randy called out. Just as he managed to get out of my grip. "I'm in here!" I screamed making a run for the door. Randy grabbed me and threw me to the ground as the door knob began shaking furiously. "Let me in NOW" The voice demanded in a terrifying tone. Randy proceeded to pick me up and throw me at the wall. I heard a crack in my side as I groaned in pain. The door crashed down and in came the owner of the deep voice. He took one look at me and looked up at Randy with a terrifying death glare. "You son of a bitch." He growled as he plowed over Randy, repeatedly hitting him. As I lay there writhing in pain, a tall man with brown shaggy hair came and picked me up in one big swoop of him arms and carried me to their room. He laid me on a bed and prodded me, asking what hurt. When he touch my rib cage I moaned in agonizing pain. Then the man who beat the crap out of Randy walked in. "I left him alive just in case you wanted turn him in or something." He smiled graciously and made his way to my bedside. "I'm Dean and this is my brother, Sam." He said nodding to the tall man standing at the table sorting through a first aid kit. "So dean do you often save random damsels in distress?" I laughed and then proceeding to groan in pain. "Not when they're in these particular situations, no." He looked over to Sam like he just told the greatest joke ever and began chuckling. "Oh sorry my bad, I'm Emma" "well it's nice to meet you Emma" Sam said as he began making his way back over to my bedside holding a box of large bandages and a pill bottle. "You too, Sam" I smiled as i looked up at him, noticing the way his chocolate brown eyes melted when they gazed into mine. "So Emma," Dean began as Sam handed me two pain pills. "You from around here?" "Nah I live in South Dakota I'm just here for a visit." They gave eachother a quick look, speaking with their eyes. Sam looked back down at me on the bed. "So who was he? Besides a low life asshat?" "Oh Randy? My boyfriend." Dean gave me a sympathetic look while Sam looked at the door angrily as if he was about to go find Randy and beat him again. "So," Dean began taking in a large breath "You have a place to stay?" I looked down at the ground, my eyes burning. "I'll be fine. But thank you for helping me. I don't get that lucky most of the time." I chuckled but only got a sympathetic look from both the boys this time. I stood and made my way to the door, opening it. I looked back at the boys. Thanks again, guys." I nodded at them and began to close the door before Dean rushed to the door and caught it with his hands. "Wait, where are you headed? I'll give you a ride." I began to stutter and the tears came down my cheeks without hesitation this time. "I swear I'm not usually like this. I don't just cry in front of strangers." Before I could say much else, he stepped forward and wrapped me in his arms, putting his head in the dip of my collar bone and neck. "Its ok sweetheart. With what you've been through, I cant blame you." I was taken back with his kindness, trying to remember a time where someone was nice to me for no good reason. I eventually wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my head into his shoulder, having to stand up on my toes since I was really short. After all the hugging and me crying and crap we separated. "You hungry?" "Oh I couldn't do that. I'm sure you have other things to do." "I promise you I don't. Come on, let me take you to a diner. We can get bacon cheeseburgers and Sam can get a salad and everything will be right." My eyes brightened and a huge goofy grin spread across my face. "I live for bacon cheeseburgers." Dean layed his hand on my shoulder. "You're my favorite human being now." I laughed at his serious expression. "How sweet." Dean went back into their room to retrieve Sam and we began walking to their car in the parking lot. We stopped at a beautiful sleek 1967 Chevy impala. I stopped dead in my tracks and stared. "Holy fucking crap." Dean and sam turned around in sync, looking at me with a worried expression. "What's wrong." Dean asked. I looked up at him still in aw. "I fucking love this car." I ran my hands over the hood and across the door handles as I opened the back door. I looked back to Dean, "May I get in?" He gave me an odd look. "Yeah unless you planned on walking." "Oh I'm sorry." I muttered slipping into the car. I gasped in aw as I ran my hands over the smooth leather seats. Dean and sam both got in after a brief conversation. Dean put the keys in and turned the ignition as the engine growled and began to purr. I sighed happily at the sound leaning my head against the door. "You like cars?" Dean asked. "A little bit yeah." I began to drift off until Dean hit a pothole and I hit my side against the door. "Oh fucking hell." I groaned loudly nearly screaming with pain. "Emma, hey you ok?" Sam quickly turned around. I fell over into the seat clutching my side. "Can we stop please?" I managed to get out. Dean quickly pulled over and Sam jumped out of the car and carefully pulled me towards him, lifting up my shirt to examine the wound. "Stitches came loose and she hit her rib again." He looked back at Dean. "I need the emergency kit from the back." He looked back down at me. "I'll get you stitched back up and drug ya up and then we can go alright?"
After about 45 minutes of Sam sewing me back up and making sure I was alright we continued on our way to the diner.
After the waiter brought us our food we talked quite a bit and told stories. "So Emma, where you headed after this?" Sam asked. If I'm being honest I was just going to tell them I was going to the bathroom and run but not before thanking them for everything they've done for me. "Not sure." I replied, swirling a fry in ketchup and tossing it into my mouth. "Don't you have a place to stay?" Dean asked. I looked up at him and then Sam. I'm not sure why but suddenly I decided to trust them. "Nope." I said smiling. Both the boys looked at me. "You can crash with us if you want." Dean offered. "Guys you've already done so much for me and I couldn't ask you to do that for me. It's too much." "Its really not, I promise you it isn't." Sam said with soft eyes. "Plus I'll feel better knowing I didn't save a girl just to throw her back out on her ass." Dean smiled. I looked at both of them. "If your sure, then I would be glad to take up your offer." I smiled graciously.
