my soulmate

chapter one

I was writing on my blog about how im not excited for my 16th birthday. When your 16 the first words that  your soulmate will say to you will appear on your wrist. Thats how my mom met my dad and they fell in love and they had my older brother Adam, then my older sister Beatrice, then they had me, then they had my little brother Peter. "Vee come down for breakfast!" My mom yelled. "Coming mom!" I yelled back. I quickly closed my laptop and ran downstairs.

I go to the kitchen and ruffle up Peter's hair. "Hey!" Peter said crossing his hands and pouts. "Venus be nice to your little brother hes only 5". I roll my eyes. "Mom you really need to stop treating me like a child im almost 16" I said picking up a piece of toast and take a bite out of it. "Your not 16 yet" Beatice said coming into the kitchen with her boyfriend.

Ive always been jealous of Beatice. She was always prettier then me. Her and her boyfriend Dylan have been together for almost 2 years. Beatrice is 5 years older then me. But Adam is 3 years older then Beatrice. And Peter is 10 years younger then me. When I just started to talk i couldn't say beatice so i called her bee until i learn how to say Beatrice.

"Hey bee hows things between you Dylan?" I asked knowing full well how things are going between them. "Oh you know" she said winking at me. I gagged. "Venus!" My mom said scolding me. "What? I dont want to hear about their sex life just how they are after the big fight" I said looking at my phone. Beatrice had a big fight with dylan about him cheating on her constantly. "I havent found my soul mate and neither has he and im desperate for sex" she said looking down. "Shoot i have to go" I said rushing out the door.

When i got to school my best friend Ember was waiting for me. "Hey girl!" She said hugging me. "Hey Em" I said hugging her back. Ironically me and Ember share the same birthday but Ember was born an hour before me. "Ready for our 16 birthday bash?" She said squeeling in excitement. "Not really" I said lookig down. "Why not?" She asked looking at me. "Well..."
