Taller (Park Jimin) fanfic

Chapter 1

Hi! I'm Jung Y/N. I am 20 years old and I am now at an airport. I stayed with my mom in Hawaii for the whole summer. I have been waiting for days to get back to New York!

I really want to see my best friends; Jimin, Julia, Taehyung and my brother Hoseok. I especially want to see Jimin.

When I was in Elementary school, Jimin and I made a promise...

~Flashback~

"Hey! Baby Jimin, why are you so short?", I exclaimed looking down at the cute little boy.

"Yah! Y/N! Watch! I'm going to be taller than you and you are going to have to marry me! Alright! You hear?!", he looked up at me. He started to jump up and down and try to at least make it to the top of my head.

"Yeah yeah yeah. Sure. Like you'd ever be taller than me!" I went on my tippy toes so it would be harder for him to reach me.

He looked me in the eyes and pouted his bottom lip. "You never know. You have to promise me!"

"Fine. I promise.", I smiled at him and adored his baby face.

~Flashback over~

I know. I know. We were just kids when we made that promise. I remember he would have the cutest smile that would melt my heart. He was so sweet that some days during recess, he would pick flowers for me.

I had to leave that same year. My mom made us move to Hawaii. I never got to see Baby Jimin again. I didn't even get to see if he grew, or if he is taller than me.

Jimin POV:

Park Jimin here. I am 23 years old and I'm an actor. Before I went on camera, I was always made fun of because of my height. I am very proud to say that I have grown after all these years.

Speaking of which, I even made a promise to the girl I fell for in Elementary School. The day we made the promise, she had to leave. I was heart broken when I heard the news. I have not seen her since. I miss her so much. If only I could see her and finally tell her how I feel.

I wasn't all alone though. I had her brother, Hoseok, with me the whole time. Hoseok stayed behind because he was invited to go to a camp for filming. He is my director for some movies. Hoseok has always been there for me. He even tells me how Y/N is doing.

I wish I could see her.
