"Hey Mommy. What's up?" Melrose asked as soon as I answered the phone. She was overly happy, more cheerful than usual.

"How is my favorite girl?" I asked as I listened to the cheeriness in her voice. "What has you so happy?" I asked trying to figure out why she was in such a good mood.

"Well Patrice Cain Mahoney. I just designed the most gorgeous wedding dress. It has all the bells and whistles. And I also designed a mother of the bride gown, because you know only one person can be as marvelous as me and that's you." She said excitedly.

"Now you know, I never like to ask you and daddy for help, but I'm just letting you know that I had to dip into that checking account that you and daddy set up for me. The dresses would have completely depleted my personal checking account and savings." She said.

I could tell that she was beyond happy, so I refused to rain on her parade about something as frivolous as money, especially when we had so much of it.

"Well Ms. Melrose, money isn't an issue, especially when you're spending your own. Daddy and I do not get the statements. So, we don't know what you spend. That money is yours to spend how you like. But out of curiosity how much were the dresses? Why didn't you invite me with you to the designers? Did you take Desiree?" I asked. I would be beyond hurt if she did.

All mothers want to be a part of their daughter's big day in every aspect. If she chose her future in law over me, it would completely break my heart.

"Ma, I called you at least ten times in the past two days and your phone was going straight to voicemail. I called Raven and even the house phone. No one answered and no one called me back. I thought I had been excommunicated from the family." Melrose said.

I felt a little guilty when she said that because for the past two days while Adam and Raven were on the father daughter trip to the Tennessee Mountains, I had been having sex with Tre every single day, in every room of his penthouse. We had done everything we had never done the first time he and I were a couple.

We used the benches on the balcony and sixty-nined until we both came. We had sex in the shower, and after a few shots of Tequila and getting nice and liquored up, we even had anal sex, which had now become my favorite position.

"Fucking you in the ass got your pussy so wet. Cum is running out of it." Tre said as the long stream of cum dripped from my pussy onto the high-priced duvets. The thought alone had me wanting to play in my pussy.

"I'm sorry Mel. I just bought a new phone because my old one stopped charging. Daddy and Raven are in Tennessee for the Father Daughter trip. I don't think their phones work in the mountains." I admitted. "But did you take someone else with you?" I asked.

I became consumed with jealousy and anger with the thought of another woman filling in as a replacement for me for my daughter's special day.

"Mommy are you serious? No, I didn't ask Mrs. Des to go with me to design the dresses. Why would you even ask that?" Mel asked. I was so embarrassed that I didn't want to say anything.

"Mel, now that I know who Taj's parents are, I just don't want her or them to try to take on the parent role because you already have parents. The missed calls will never happen again. I don't want to miss the important parts of your life." I said honestly.

"Awww, that's so cute and sweet Mommy. But no woman can ever, could ever and will never take your place. I know you aren't really feeling me being engaged, but I also know that you don't want to miss any parts of it." Melrose said.

My emotions were all over the place. I wanted to smile and cry. How could I have ever been mad at my favorite girl. Mel was the sweetest person I had ever met, and I wasn't just saying that because she was my daughter. She was truly amazing.
