In the overviews, I will go over the last couple of chapters from a narrator's point of view. The narrator knows what each character is thinking, what they will think, and how the story will go on and how it will end.
At this point, Trixie likes and fancies Katya and is very aware of this. She wants to jump right in with her, but will respect the fact that she's just had a break up and isn't ready for a new relationship. As you know, Katya sees Trixie's apartment as a short place to stay until she gets her life back together, but Trixie wants Katya to be with her all the time.
Katya likes Trixie, and is thankful of her kindness and generosity. She is unaware at the moment of Trixie's attraction to her and she is still getting over her heartbreak so the thought of a new relationship hasn't crossed her mind.
None of them, however, know the long, twisted, yet exciting path that is ahead of them. There will be paths that look prettier than others, but the less pretty ones lead to a better end. Which path will they take?
