Mystery Number Zero!

Cards

Nene went home, that only left Takara and Hanako.
Alone.
Together.

'First night of freedom, and I'm stuck with this...' she looked over at Hanako with  an annoyed glare, but it soon faded when she noticed him shuffling something between his hands. She floated over to him, upside down, with curiousity.
"What you got there?" She asked with wide eyes.
"You mean my cards?"
"Cards? What do you do with them?"
"Well, you can play games with them. Do you want to play cards with me?" Hanako asked and tilted his head at the girl. She nodded swiftly and excitement.
"Alright, then let's get started." Hanako smiled.

'His smile... I like this smile.'

"This is so much fun Hanako kun!" Takara exclaimed! That was the first time she said kun after Hanako.
"Thank you for teaching me." She praised, Hanako blushed a bit.
"No problem." He scratched the back of his neck looking away from her. "It's nice to have someone else to play cards with."
"Yeah..." Takara suddenly lowered her head with a frown.
"Hmmm. What's the matter Takara?"
"I'm just so happy to have friends like you and Nene, I'm forever grateful." She slammed her hand down in front of Hanako and made him jump out of surprise at her actions!
"Thank you Hanako! I mean every word! I'm glad to be out of that damned box... I'm overjoyed that you and Nene accepted me as I am, and so quickly too!" She gently took Hanako's hands into hers. Her eyes started to fill with tears.
"Please don't cry." Hanako embrassed Takara into a gentle hug, he nuzzled his head into the crook of her neck.
"Why wouldn't we? You seem like a nice spirit... a nice person."

"I-I" She buried her face into Hanako's shoulder, he tensed up a bit, but relaxed quickly.
"Shhh it's ok, when you want to tell me, I'll be here..."
He grabbed her shoulders and pulled her back suddenly.
"But for right now, let's just enjoy our game! So, wipe away those tears, because this time..." He started to shuffle the deck again

"I WILL DEFINITELY WIN THIS ROUND!"

Takara just giggled and wiped away the tears gathered in her eyes.

"Like hell I'll allow you to win! Over my dead... uh.... well... you know Haha!"

The two teens played card games well into the night.

'I finally have friends! Friends with my master... a strange feeling I can't place... how odd...? You truly never know... what can happen.'
