Ajax looks back at the footprints a few more times as they got farther along the path and closer to home. Eventually Ajax and his father reach their house and his father jumps off the wagon and quickly runs inside yelling over his shoulder "Unload while I'm gone, I'll be back in a moment". Ajax looked at the door that his father had just gone through while thinking "what was that all about?" He shrugged and started to unload leaving the item he had bought on the drivers bench. After unloading and moving all the items to where they are supposed to be stored he walked back to the cart and grabbed the bundle on the bench and walks inside heading straight to his room and lays the bundle on his bead and unwraps it revealing two swords, one was normal size while the second was a much larger sword.

Ajax smiles and picks up the smaller of the two swords unsheathing it to look at the blade and its design. The Majority of the blade was an ice blue with almost a glow to it, across the back of the blade down to the hilt was black. The hilt was black with a flat oval shape, and the handle was thundercloud grey. Ajax smiles putting it back into the sheath and sets it on the bed then picks up the large of the two unsheathing it. This sword was much larger. The handle was a hand and a half long, the length blade was resting point first on the ground was just below a man's lower chest area not including the handle and hilt, and was three fourths the width of a person's body. The whole sword was solid black with a dull glowing line that outlined just inside the blades edge, and at the base of the blade on the left side had a small glowing circle that one side of the outline ended at. Ajax looked at the circle and outline more than a little curious as to why it was there before putting it back into its sheath. He then grabs the other sword and sets them both against a wall in a corner and walks out of his room to the kitchen to see what his parents were doing.

(A/N-this is what the two swords look like, you can probably figure out which is which)

As Ajax walked down the hall to the kitchen he heard his parents talking in a not too happy tone so He decided to listen in and leaned against a wall next to the doorway and listened to what they said. "Are you sure that is what you saw?" His mother said, sounding worried, which was odd in itself. "Yes, I know what I saw", his father said quickly "we need to warn the village about this before it decides to attack" Ajax tilted his head confused from what he had just heard, what was going to attack? He needed to know but was afraid what his parents would do if they found out that he had eavesdropped on their conversation. Ajax shook his head then turned to walk into the kitchen and ran right into his father.

His father glared at him slightly, "What are you doing Ajax?" Ajax jumped after seeing his father and hung his head as he stammered through the next few words he spoke, "I was just coming to see what you and mom were doing". His father raised one eyebrow and crossed his arms,"did you hear what we were talking about?" Ajax shook his head and looked at his father, only the last bit" Robert nodded and placed one hand on Ajax's shoulder,"good, now if you see anything suspicious come tell me immediately, got it?" Ajax nodded then walked into the kitchen to the slight surprise of his mother and grabbed his dinner before walking back to his room closing the door.

Ajax sat on his bed while he ate thinking about what his parents had said. What could they be talking about, what did my father see that made both my parents so scared. He thought for a bit while he ate his food then stood and looked out his window noticing a storm on the horizon. "Looks like tonight is going to be noisy because of that storm". He sighed and walked over to his desk sitting down to work on his swords. He picked up the smaller of the two unsheathing it and began to sharpen its edge. He continued this till he considered it to be sharp then put it back into its sheath and placed it back against the wall while picking up the larger of the two swords. "This should be interesting" unsheathes the sword and looks at the blade to check its edge," that's odd its already sharp yet the shop keeper said that it was an old sword" he shrugged and put it back into its sheath before hearing something outside his door.

"What was that?" Ajax stood up from his desk and walked over to his door but hesitated to open it. After some thought and mental debate he opened the door to find a silverish white fox pacing in front of his door causing him to jump slightly then tilt his head. "What on earth..." The fox stopped and turned its head to look at him before lightly running into his room and beginning to explore. Ajax watched the fox explore his room then he walked to his bed and sat down on it still carefully watching the fox. After some time the fox stopped exploring and layed down next to the heated pipes that were connected to a fireplace in the middle of the kitchen. Ajax shrugged and layed down Slowly falling asleep, yet right before he fell asleep he heard an unknown female voice "You haven't changed much have you, still just as trusting."
