It was two periods before we could leave the building. The year was over, and we got everything packed. Maddison and I were in study hall making sure our plans were right, for the 10th time. "Okay Clem, for the last time, we should get on the plane around 11:30 then be in New York by maybe 4 AM." I nodded then added, "We should check in the hotel by 4:30." I clicked on the link in front of my computer. A window opened showing me the information I required to have to check into the hotel. I shrunk the window and opened up Microsoft Word. "I need to finish this essay, hold on." I looked up as Maddison nodded. "Hey girls!" A loud girlish voice was heard coming from the other side of the room. Justine came in with Starbucks in one hand and her bag in the other. Her bleached blonde hair was picked up in a high pony tail that waved as she walked. I looked up at her and smiled as she sat down next to Maddison. "Hey Tina," Maddison said "do you have your information for tonight?" I looked down at my computer screen and continued to type up my essay. "Of course!" I heard a zipper open then the laptop fall onto the wooden table. A loud click was heard then some typing.
Justine and Maddison were my best friends. We would tell everything to each other. Justine, or as we call her Tina, is a blonde that was too obsessed with the color pink. Everything she had was pink including the tips of her hair. Justine is always loud and always makes sure people notice her when she walks into the room. Maddison or Maddi on the other hand is a different story. She's more of the quiet type and she's always organized. She's had perfect attendance since she was in Kindergarden. But she wasn't shy. Maddison is a brunette with her bangs a dull yet bright red. She was more obsessed with nature and stories.
While I, Clementine is in the middle. I'm quiet but still out going. I hate putting attention to myself unless it's for things I stand up in. My hair is quite different, a side from the artificial colors like the purple I have now, I usually have dark brown curly hair with my bangs straightened.
"Hey? Clementine?" I shook my head and looked up at Maddison. "S-Sorry," I stuttered out as I clicked the save button on the top of the screen. "It's okay, we just wanted to know if you can send us the info for the hotel?" Maddison talked as she texted on her phone. "Oh alright, no problem." I copied the link and sent it out to both of them. As they were talking amongst themselves, I closed my sliver laptop and shoved it into my book bag. I started to think about the trip and what if they find new people to hang out with or if they will completely ignore me while we're up there. Negative thoughts kept swarming in my head until the bell rang.
I got up first, sighing then getting my bag. "I need to stop by Ruiz's class to get something," I started walking towards the doors "I'll meet up with you two soon." Okays echoed in the empty room as I walked out. The sea of people was in front of me now and the only thing I could do in jump in. I spotted one of my old friends, Troy and quickly went up to him so I don't seem like a loner. Up three staircases until I reached my class.
