To the untrained, middle-class American eye, Angel Port, Vermont was a peaceful and picturesque haven; it was a blissful and quaint East Coast nook - famous throughout the New England states for its bewitching harbour scenery, and its accompanying seafood restaurants. However, behind the barricade of white, Pickett fences and unbeknown to the legion of mailbox soldiers, an illicit network of counterfeiting, money laundering and drug trafficking consumed the shadows of the back alleys. The idyllic, picture-perfect town was blindingly oblivious to the felonious pariahs wandering its streets.
