The Irony Of Blood

Prolouge

Andrea watched her blood drip from her arm onto her white ripped skinny jeans that clung to her tiny figure, a hysterical laugh passing her lips. The buzzing and blurring of the people and sounds around her did not register in her mind, the only focus of her mind the life-blood pouring from her body. The blue paint-splattered shirt hung loosely around her, somehow managing to escape the blood as it puddles on the purple fuzzy carpet that lines the floor around her in the small bathroom attached to her large room. She had once put her heart and soul into molding and shaping the room and bath into what she had just wanted, the glow-in the dark stars she had spent hours placing on the ceiling of her bathroom in just the right order were now the only things registering in her dulling mind.

A shocking pain erupts in the right side of her face as someone slaps her, trying to pull her into reality. Andreas eyes move and focus on a boy with angelic blue eyes and pretty hair that she had run her hands through so many times. A small smile appears on her face as she see’s him, the last person she will ever see in her soon ending life. “Now the pain is gone...” Andrea offers, a tear falling down her face as she finally closes her eyes and slips into her long, never-ending sleep.
