"I can't believe I'm in High School!" I scream to nobody in particiular. Considering today is mine and Luke's first day! I'm knocked out of my thoughts when i hear banging on my wall. "Shut it Sky! I just want 5 more minutes!" Oh joy he's in a crabby mood. Just great! I'm glad I picked ou tmy outfit yesterday so I can curl my hair. It's so weird how I'm a brunette while my twin brother is blonde. I turn my curling iron on and go wake Luke up. When i walk out of Luke's room I notice that Ben is probibally going to pick up Emily. Which is his girlfriend every since they were in year 10. But if he is picking her up then that means that Jack has to drive us. Lord please help us survive this trip to school!
Just one more curl and.... Done! I don't look half bad. "Sky, Luke come on. Time to go! We are going to be late!" called Jack. I sprinted down the stairs missing the last step and rolled out the door and onto the front lawn.
I look up to see a really cute boy noticed my tumble and got of his penny board to help me. "Are you okay!?! That was quite a fall" he says looking concerned. I start to blush out of embarressment. "Y-y-yah I'm fine, just really clumsy is all." He looks down and I take this chance to really look at him. His lovely brown eyes, and cute floppy black hair. Am I dead? "No your very much alive" he said with a chuckle. "Well I'm Skylar Hemmings who are you?" I said with hopeful smile. He threw out his hand and I shook it "The names Claum Hood and it was a pleasure making sure you were okay Miss.Hemmings,So see you later them?" I nodded and he was on his way again to where ever.
I walked back inside to see both my annoying brothers making kissy faces while laughing. They both look really ugly right now! We got into the car and Jack kept making fun of my stutter.
We pull into the parking lotand Jack drops us off front so we aren't late. Me and Luke sprinted down the hall until we both run into a girl wearing bright pink. I look up and we both start laughing. She seems cool. i get up then help her up.I think Luke went to class considering he wasn't here anymore. I randomly hug her and tell her that she is my new best friend. As up front as it sounds. She gladly took my offer. We ended up have 5 out of 10 classes together!
The day went by really quickly. Before I knew it, it was lunch. When I got there I noticed Kaytee in line. I quickly caught up to her. After we got our lunch we sat at a table with a boy named Michael. Which also happens to be my neighbor, but the reason I didn't know him was because him and Kaytee both went to Brimington Prep. AKA the most prestigious private school in Sydney.
My last class was Geometery which so happens to be my favorite class so far. That went really quickly, considering it was only the first day and we talked to whole time. As soon as the bell rang I made my way through the crowd trying my best not to get trampled. After elbowing my way through I made it to the front doors where me, Luke, and Jack decided meet up. After 5 minutes Luke immerges from the crowd. We decide to walk to Jacks car due to the fact that the crowd had begun to increase. Then we waited for what seemed like forever Jack finally decided to show up. We got into the car and left.
When we got home mom let us each invite a friend over. I of course invited Kaytee and Luke said it was some guy he met in band.
When Kaytee came we stayed in my room and talked about boys we met, and our classes. After a while I heard the front door open and close. Luke's friend is probibally here. After about 30 minutes Mom called us down for dinner. Kaytee and I sat down, shortly after Luke and his friend sat down. As the did my eyes widened. It was him the boy who cared....
